We saw the island "floating" in the ocean (as islands do) but noticed a temple on it and wondered "how do you get there?" After some research and tide chart analysis, we set our clocks for wee early in the morning on a day when the tide was at its lowest and made the trek. I had no idea the path would be SO WIDE and full of amazing shells! The walk to the island is amazing, the temple is full of activity and the scenery is beautiful. Definitely worth seeing if you're in Vung Tau!

I visited the White Palace in October 2019. It is an older structure and in need of some maintenance. However, it does represent and has artifacts and furniture from the era when it was lived in. It is an interesting place with a lot of history and I recommend a visit if in the area.
