Kingston Beach

This is a long beach which has a range of restaurants, pubs/bars & takeaway food to service a short or long visit. There is a small but good kids playground suited to a younger age group. Beach showers, public toilets & a drinking fountain. Definitely a good spot to frequent.

Kingston Beach Golf Club

Kingston Beach Golf Club, the southernmost 18 hole championship course in Australia, is one of Southern Tasmania’s Premier Golf Courses, situated just south of Hobart on the beautiful Channel Coast. A challenging Par 71 course, the beautiful water views from the Club house and 1st/2nd Tees and abundant bird life throughout will leave you with lasting memories. We offer lunch Tuesday to Saturday and dinner on Friday nights in a relaxed family atmosphere.

Not only is this a challenging round of golf, with water hazards, tricky layout and some longer holes for the big hitters, the scenery is fabulous and the location ideal. Views from the top before you tee off, offer an ideal photo opportunity out to the sea. There is a novel lift to take you to the last hole and hitting your last shot almost straight at the clubhouse all offer a unique experience. To cap all this off, the hospitality offered by the people of Kingston Beach is second to none. They kept the bar open for us, provided us with free food (don't expect that - we were just lucky to get some leftovers from a wedding the day before!!) and helped us to take photos of the group. Lovely people. Well done KBGC.

Alum Cliffs Track

We walked from Kingston beach to taroona. A cruisy walk with views all the way. You pass some historical bits before Taroona like the Shot Tower. Got an Uber back to base.
