A mix of locals and tourists. Located on the main street of Tanunda, La Bise showcases locally produced wines crafted from alternative varieties grown across South Australia, alongside guest wines from interstate and overseas. The small venue is perfect for a light lunch or pre-dinner drinks, but provides fantastic atmosphere on a Friday night.

This is a very cool little spot, with lovely friendly staff and fantastic Gin and cocktails. We arrived on a very warm day, and had booked a table outside. The place was booked out, and we can see why. We tried 4 fantastic Gins on a wooden board, with tonic, ice and little garnishes to compliment each Gin. Each Gin was unique, with a wonderful subtle flavour. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and talked us through each Gin, briefly before we enjoyed the experience. You’re also given a sheet of paper with tasting notes. We are keen to go back and try the cocktails, as the party next to us ordered them, and they looked sensational. You can order the best woodfired pizza around; Ember pizza- next door, and they bring it over. It is the perfect place to while away the day in the sunshine. It’s definitely something different, and very welcome in amongst all the amazing wines in the region. Highly recommend!

A big thank you to Bec for taking the time to educate and explain each of the Gins in the tasting flights and the effects of adding ice & then tonic. Very much appreciated given this was our 18 yo daughters first experience with gin. Thumbs up from Parent & daughter to SRD & especially Bec.

We enjoyed a fabulous tasting today with Simon our guide through the amazing wines of the producers they represent. The basic tasting was $10 pp, and we quickly deviated into the deeper and more interesting wines on offer. Simon was a master - vivid descriptions, wonderful metaphors and a rich knowledge of his product. This was one of the most wonderful wine tastings we have done over the years - a tailor-made journey through the wine makers produce that piqued or interested, made us hang on every word (and glass) and ensured we left the Barossa Valley with not only a few (!) amazing wines, but also amazing memories!! Hats off team - a truly amazing afternoon.

A really good range of local and interstate beers. All are craft beers and most are from local Barossa brewers. There are plenty of whiskies too. Friendly staff and plenty of room inside to grab a seat.
