Charming Timisoara is often referred to as “Little Vienna,” and indeed, Austrian influences are evident in the architecture, food and culture. This is a walking city, divided into squares that showcase stunning architectural gems. Downtown is reserved for pedestrians only, and the best time to visit is at twilight, when you can sip a hot wine as you stroll amid sparkling lights.

This is near to the orthodox Cathedral in city center . Its very big park and has lot of space to walk, benches to sit and relax. I saw this at the time of winter and summer both. When fresh snow comes on the trees, they look amazing.

It will look nice after is restaurated! It is located on the bank of Bega river with the monument dedicated to the romanian heroes died during the war. It was old oak trees and lots of flowers and fountains. Because the alleys were deteriorated is was closed for restauration.

The Botanic Park covers aprox. 8 ha, being the second biggest park in Timisoara. It has a good variety of trees and bushy plants... but not named, unfortunately. Its beauty comes, however, from the landscape: with small hills, valleys and rocky areas... and from the nice shadow offered by the imposing trees. One of its kiosks hosts, from time to time, dance lessons. In the afternoons there are a lot of parents with their children in this park. The entrance it's free.
