A picturesque site telling the story of a Surrey family circa 1900. While the farmhouse is temporarily closed, visitors can still experience Guided Outdoor Tours Tuesday to Friday from 1-3:30pm. Perfect for the family or social bubble (10 person limit), discover the stories of the site with an informative guide. Then explore on your own with a nature walk or sit down for a picnic. One group spot is available every 30 minutes with the final tour beginning at 3pm. Guests are required to pre-register their group online.
This is a fabulous little gem of history just outside Vancouver. It's free and there's good parking. You can wander round the house, barns and grounds and there are some lovely trails to walk with fabulous views of the mountains and river. It would be a great place to take a picnic in the warm months. Lots of history and not too much to read. All in all a great experience for all ages

Redwood Park is a beautiful historic park in South Surrey. It has a large forest of exotic trees planted by the Brown brothers, there's also a wonderful replica of the original tree house that the brothers lived in. I believe you can obtain the key from the City to explore inside it. Beautiful lawns and picnic areas and a great playground. For children the best part of Redwood Park is the magical Fairy Garden, here kids can leave their own decorated fairy house.

Almost every night in the summer my husband and I go to Blackie spit to ride around the beautiful natural path ways and then around the beach and then back to sit on the beach and watch a stunning sunset… It’s a best kept secret and it’s hardly ever crowded and even more so there’s a fantastic dog park and place for the dogs to play in the beach best kept secret I think…

Crescent Beach is breathtaking, we go with the family during the day and enjoy a lovely stroll and all you feel is peace, the ocean breeze in the blue and silver colour water and most of the time the sun is out even on cold days...What a treat even when I am just on my own spa time for the mind and soul. Love birds looking for a perfect location outdoors for photos before/after weddings just in White Rock, BC.

This is my favourite park, always immaculately kept and well behaved park/walkers. Always love going down to the beach and walk along for about an hour or two, sit down and just drink in nature.

Though it is right on 16th Avenue, once you enter the garden you will find yourself relaxing and slowing down. The beautiful trails and mature trees towering over you connect you to nature and the lady who created the garden. Her enthusiasm for unique plants shows everywhere-she chose plants that have unusual features.

We having been going to this park for a few years now. Beautiful trails, very dog friendly. I have yet to come across a bad owner here with their dogs. If you haven't been here its a great place to take your best friend for an off leash walk. There are benches and seats for us people as well as a washroom. Plenty of parking and easy acess off 20th Avenue.
