Great for all ages, my sister and parents and I had a wonderful bike ride along the coast. The paved path made for easy riding and there were plenty of pull-offs and scenic overlooks. You might even see a sea turtle or two! The rented bikes had baskets and bells on them. Bring water, sunscreen and a hat!

Great hike, gives you a nice workout, with only one area that you need to scramble on. It is listed as one of the hardest on the easy list. If you are a hiker and like a bit of a challenge this is for you. Beautiful views, can be slippery if wet.

We hiked this in Nov 2020, on a day with a lot of rain. Trail was muddy but the footing was OK- you'll get a little dirty, but the views on this trail are totally worth it! Starting about 1/2 mile in, you'll get beautiful vistas of the mountains, rainforest, and the ocean off in the distance.

I was immediately struck by the friendliness of the staff from the parking lot on. Everyone was well prepared to assist in any way. The ticket line was streamlined as we purchased tickets in advance and moved quickly through. We were greeted with shell necklaces which was a nice touch. The grounds were beautiful and there was just enough time to walk around it before the Imu ceremony. Afterwards, we grabbed some Mai Tai's that were already out at the bar. Some tables were reserved for families, but we were told to go to anyplace that had a napkin put in the glass as that meant it was open and available. It was nice to have a covered area with open sides to sit in as we did get a few drizzles of rain but enjoyed the breezes.. The buffet was very tasty with lots of variety. Again it was well run and everyone moved through pretty quickly. We found that after the first rush for drinks, we could go to the other bar and order any cocktail we wanted with little wait time. There was entertainment during dinner and afterwards we strolled over to an amphitheater for the show. I found the show to have lots of variety, the dancers seemed to enjoy their roles and it was impressive.

Great place to watch the waves and enjoy a rocky shore filled with driftwood. Wouldn’t recommend for swimming or snorkeling, at least not with high surf conditions. Sand is very soft and grainy so walking the beach is difficult. No turtles, seals or whales during our stay.

Really easy to access, loads of parking and the natural beauty will take your breath away... just 20 feet away is another large parking lot with beautiful views right over the Wailua River out to the ocean - a MUST DO!!!
