My children and I decided to check out a movie at the "dollar theatre" as we refer to it. Not expecting much...other than seeing a movie at an inexpensive place. We were pleasantly surprised by the new decor, new carpet, updated/modern feel and....red recliners! The theatre even had that "new"smell to it. I couldn't believe we had only paid $1.75 each per ticket. We really enjoyed the fresh new look, and it was super clean. I spoke with one of the staff and was told it was renovated in May, and unfortunately ticket prices increase tomorrow! Tix will cost $4.50 matinee, $7 in the evening, and $4 all day Tuesday. They will be getting newer movies as they premiere. I will miss the cheaper tix price, but I like the new look, and love reclining seats! It still is cheaper than other movie spots in town. We will be back!
