Excellent ending destination from our hike starting in Alp Languard - we took the Panorama Trail, which was very doable with our five year-old. Just be sure to have smaller children have good walking shoes and hold a hand in areas where there is little protection/steep inclines on side of mountain. The trail, however, is fairly flat. It took us about 4 hours including breaks. The walk could also be down in the reverse direction (Muottas Muragl-->Alp Languard and down with the chair lift). The restaurant has a wonderful playground in the back and offers a seated area restaurant as well as a self-service area with tables on a huge terrace. If you are looking for a slightly cheaper option, I would highly recommend the self-service food. The food was excellent - we had a lovely lentil soup and wurstsalat. Cake and coffee were also excellent. As others have mentioned, the scenery is magnificent looking out on the lakes of St. Moritz, Sils and Silvaplana. The ride down with the furnicular is fun and unique. An excellent outing and very much worth it - our hotel included this excursion in the card with access to all local cable cars/transport.

Stunning Panorama The Bernina range in one direction, the lakes of the Upper Engadin valley in the other, views of a thousand Alpine peaks: hiking on Corvatsch - Furtschellas is so rewarding! The Water Trail is perfect for families, there is the Via Gastronomica for gourmets, and the Panoramic Trail for lovers of breathtaking views. A classic walk is the Hahnensee trail from Corvatsch to St. Moritz. Corvatsch, the sports mountain (Glacier) ski slopes, a snow park, freeriding areas, permanent snowshoe trails: Corvatsch has them all. The winter sports area extends from Sils via Silvaplana all the way to St. Moritz. Its altitude and the north-facing slopes mean that snow conditions are perfect from mid-November to early May. The cable car station at 3303 m above sea level is the highest in Graubünden and has stunning panoramic views.
I spent 6 weeks skiing through Switzerland and France in December and January the polenta and fig soup at 3303 was a knock out ! One of the best dishes of the trip ! Well worth going to this restaurant a highlight for many reasons !

When skiing in the area, certainty go up Piz Nair, enjoy the view and have fun on the slope down. One of the nicest trips to make.

Excellent hike in immediate proximity of Pontresina. Well-maintained trails and wonderful scenery. Perfect warm-up on the way to the Tschierva alpine hut or beyond, to the Bianca ridge and Piz Bernina.

We skied Corviglia 3 times during our trip to St. Moritz. We accessed it via Signalbahn Cable Car which was a 5 minute walk from out hotel. Once exiting the cable car, the first chair lift climbs 2,100 ft to the top of the run used for FIS Downhill competitions. This is a wide open, 1.4 mile groomed ripping run with undulating terrain from mild to wild pitches.
