Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

Established in 2004. Tonic has been in the center of the action for over a decade, in the heart of Times Square, New York. A staple among both locals and international visitors, it has earned the name of "The World's Neighborhood Sports Bar." TripAdvisor ranked as one of the top 20 nightlife venues in the city beating out over 800 others! This three-level bar, lounge and restaurant offers a comfortable escape among the bright lights and flashy screens of Times Square. Giant TVs hang behind the first floor bar, where local business folks mingle with tourists. A striking red dominates the cavernous main floor, while the second and third feels more intimate. Nightly karaoke and DJs keep the energy moving. For beer lovers, the tap selections cover ample ground, from Bass to Yuelinging (30 in all). Of the fruity, brightly colored martinis, the mandarin delivers a nice kick without tasting too sweet. The menus are always fresh with weekly specialties and seasonal offerings. A perfect spot for Lunch, Dinner, or a Late-Night bite.
Partner and I are from Australia and went here for NYE and loved it!! If you’re looking to see the ball drop but don’t want to do it from the mayhem outside, do it from this bar. They sell different levels of tickets but if you get the top ticket it includes dinner, unlimited alcohol all night and access to all three levels of the bar which all have their own dance floors. The staff there are extremely accommodating and you can even go out into the lane way at midnight and watch the ball drop from a fenced off area!! Overall loved the experience.

A group of friends (6 of us) celebrated a birthday at Karaoke Duet 53 and LOVED it! We enjoyed the fact that we had our own private room instead of being in a bar full of people having to wait in a “line up” to sing. We all sang until our hearts were content, ordered Thai food that was delivered, and were taken care of by the staff who brought us alcoholic beverages regularly. The staff was very friendly and took excellent care of us. The room itself was very clean and had an enormous selection of songs. The equipment was easy to use, and the quality of the sound was fantastic. We all were shocked at how inexpensive the entire night was. From the rental of the room to the beverages, we felt the price was very reasonable. I will definitely return when in NYC with a group of friends. I recommend this venue to anyone who likes to sing and wants to different, unique, and fun way to celebrate a special occasion. Way to go, Karaoke Duet 53!
