"Rumi Kipu", is a five room (14 beds) hotel, with the best view of Toro Toro Valley, located in the heart of Toro Toro National Park (PNTT), 2 km from town center. The name of this ecologic enterprise attended by its owners, consists of two Quechua words that describe the place: Rumi (Stone) and Kipu (the Inka writing system), an authentic Book written in Stone that tells the history of our planet. Rumi Kipu is part of a agro-ecologic farm. It has a waste water treatment system, as well as a rainwater harvest system, for the irrigation of hundreds of fruit trees and native species. In order to help saving energy, it counts with a set of solar pannels for water heating. It also recycles all its organic waste into compost for fertilizing its crops. The meals offered in its menus, consist of organic and home made bread, marmalade, yogurt, cereals and seasonal fruits. The hotel has three dobblerooms, and two caudruple rooms each with two beds in the first floor and two beds in its loft.
Lovely rooms, very clean and comfortable with every detail focussed on the needs of the guest. The views from the property are beautiful. Alfonso and Anne-Marie are wonderful, warm hosts and made us feel so much at home. They provided us with advice about tours and arranged transport for us in to the village, as well as back to Cochabamba at the end of our stay. The food is just exquisite - fresh and tasty with wonderful flavours. This is quite easily one of the loveliest, most welcoming places you can expect to find.

If you’re looking for a bed and breakfast in Torotoro, look no further than Cabanas Umajalanta. You can take advantage of some of the amenities offered by Cabanas Umajalanta, including baggage storage. As an added convenience, there is free parking available to guests. While in Torotoro, you may want to check out the nearby pub El Dinosaurio. The staff at Cabanas Umajalanta looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
This is the best lodge to visit Torotoro NP. The lodge is small and just outside the village Torotoro, and run by local people. The lodge has comfortable rooms, and a restaurant with a great view of the impressive landscape. Torotoro NP is amazing. Most attention goes to the canyon and the cave. Although both are beautiful, for us the highlights are the dinosaur tracks that are spread in the overwhelming landscape. Many are out in the open without protection. Our guide Emilio explained everything about the tracks and even had miniature dinosaurs to show us the different species. It felt like magic to step in the steps of dinosaurs. My advice would be to include the tracks in your tour.

Small village, small hostel: OK rooms, decent beds, all clean but a bit rough around the edges (which is kond of the point of Torotoro as a whole). The staff is all family and you'll feel really welcomed here (even if the senora doesn't speak a lot of spanish (or english), so better learn a few words Quechua if the senor is absent ;-) ).

Schöne Unterkunft, direkt neben dem Markt. Gut funktionierendes Wlan im Restaurant. Heisse Dusche hatte man immer. Einzig was man verbessern könnte ist das Frühstück,mehr und früher. Da die Touren um 07.00 Uhr starten sollte man ab 06.30 Uhr frühstücken können.

El Molino is situated 1 mile from the town of Torotoro on a large property which has fruit trees and plenty of space to explore and relax. There is a restaurant and bar service, patio, hammocks, common TV with a library of movies to choose from. We offer complete 2 3 or 4 day packages from Cochabamba usng only the best people for your trip, from the chofer, guide, cooks and overall experience is guarnateed to be an enjoyable one.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 days during New Year's Eve as part of a service provided by a travel agency. The rooms are just fine and it has a nice common area behind what it's called reception, but the customer service is a total disgrace, there wasn't any staff member who would help us at reception over our entire stay. The dinner room or "restaurant" is just a saloon with a few tables and no cutlery or set whatsoever and 2 cholitas that cook and serve the meals that are fairly disappointing. The last day of our stay we got a beef and egg sandwich in a plastic plate... the property is 2km away from the town and in the other side of a river but there is no bridge to cross it so you can only do it by car. We were never advised that in the town only 1 mobile phone provider has coverage and the hotel does not have internet connection let alone wifi... you will be left without any connection to the world without any warning (which is perfect if that's what you want but pretty inconvenient if not). I wouldn't recommend this hotel since it was just a rip off for us and surely for the other guests as well.
