Waves Surf Camp Peru is the friendliest and happiest place to be in Punta Hermosa. We treat all of guests as old friends and are eager to share not only our epic waves, but our wonderful hospitality and home cooked meals (tourist friendly) with you. We are waiting to share all of our local knowledge with our new friends. Our goal is simple; that everybody has fun and enjoys every moment
Excellent and Friendly Experience

For the surfing, Giancarlo, his son, and Arturo were very helpful and encouraging with us during our stay. They gave us ample information and instruction to get started: not too much information to feel overwhelmed, yet not too little to feel frustrated. They made sure we knew what we were doing, and we were both standing up in no time. On our final day, we made a day trip to Cerro Azul, and it was one of those "perfect days" you can have on vacation: excellent weather, great waves, good food, good people. The whole experience at the camp was excellent. Accommodation includes food and all necessary equipment and transportation. Giancarlo picked us up at the airport. He paid for any snacks we had at local establishments, and he took us out for dinner one night. He also drove us back to the airport when it was time to leave. This was one of the nice things about our stay: we didn't have to spend any money while we were there, unless we wanted to. So, it is "all-inclusive" in that sense. They provide all meals on site unless you are going out somewhere. The accommodations are clean, and it is relaxed and "family style." It's not a five-star hotel, but that's not the point. Rather, we and the others were there to surf and relax. Everyone was friendly, and there are surf sessions in the morning and afternoon. For me, I was tired and happy at the end of every day. They have a common area if you want to hang out and chat with people, or you can retreat to your room for privacy, if you prefer. During our time there, we were the beginners, yet there were more advanced surfers, too. They selected locations where we could all find spots that suited our abilities. We went to several different places through the week, and we rarely surfed the same spot more than once or twice, so there was good variety in our experiences. I highly recommend Waves and Giancarlo and his group.

Our hotel is very well located on a beautiful beach south of the city of Lima. We have double, matrimonial and triple rooms, in addition to a terrace with a pool.

Lindas habitaciones y sobre todo la terraza, parrilla y piscina del hotek g-boss. Hace poco he vuelto a ir en invierno ya que con mi familia buscamos escapar de la rutina a un lugar seguro y este hotel cuenta con todos los protocolos de seguridad contra el Covid-19. Nos sentimos muy a gusto y disfrutamos de la parrilla. Un día distinto

Este hospedaje tiene habitaciones muy comodas, frescas y cerca a todo lo que hay para hacer en Punta Hermosa. Sun duda alguna recomendado para ir con amigos, familia o si buscas simplemente despejarte en la playa.

The Hotel La Planicie Pico Alto is located in the residential area of La Planicie in the district of Punta Hermosa, located at 50km south of the Jorge Chávez International Airport. Punta Hermosa has one of the most exclusive beaches in Lima such as El Silencio, Caballeros, Señoritas, La Isla, Playa Negra, Playa Blanca, Kontiki. It is also the home of many surf professionals such as Sofía Mulanovich, Analí Gomez, among others. The hotel has a 24-hour reception, terrace and barbecue area on the first floor. On the 2nd and 3rd floor there is an outdoor terrace / living room. All rooms have a private bathroom and cable TV.
BUENA UBICACION, PERO PESIMA ESTADIA
Reviewed By Jenny PLlegamos viernes a medio dia. Nos atendió una persona que supongo, era el administrador, porque, además de una chica que limpiaba, no había mas personal en todo el hotel. No tenía registrada la reserva, tuvimos que demostrar con el voucher virtual que se había hecho un mes antes y se había pagado. pese a ello,nos dijo que lo pagado -y publicitado en las paginas de Hoteles.com y Booking, era muy poco y pretendió cobrar el doble, a lo que nos negamos, con prueba en mano. Sobre la habitación, era muy chiquita, eramos 4 personas y nos dieron 1 cama de 2 plazas y un camarote, tan pegados que era dificil transitar en el cuarto. No tenía ventana al exterior, sino a un ducto de ventilación y el baño tenía una micro ventanita!!! Solo nos dieron un ventilador, no había frigobar, aunque lo ofrecían y la ducha eléctrica funcionó solo un día de los 3 que me quedé. Nunca hicieron la limpieza y cobran por todo. Había carteles por todo el hotel que decían que no se podía hacer bulla desde las 11 pm; sin embargo, alquilaron el ambiente del primer piso para un evento, con baile y todo, que duró hasta más de la 1.30 am, o sea, no pude ni dormir bien por la bulla y el excesivo calor en el cuarto. En general, el hotel está muy descuidado y las fotos que muestran en las páginas de hoteles distan de lo que ofrecen. No hay cocina ni sala de estar disponible, la zona del bar está sucia y si necesitas alguna cosa, no hay a quien pedirla. Lo unico bueno es la ubicación, porque el hotel está en zona cerrada y vigilada y se puede dejar el auto en la puerta del local sin peligro. Sin embargo, eso no basta para una buena estadía. No lo recomiendo.
