The room was clean and nice with a refrig and microwave and coffee/tea. Nice TV with wide selection of channels. Good shower pressure. Overall quiet hotel in a quiet area. Not a lot around the hotel to do although there is a MCD and a Taco Bell very close. A free breakfast was provided but was less than appetizing in quantity and quality and variety. Overall a nice hotel and would stay again. Price could be a bit less expensive.

Reviewed By djp2997the toilet didn't work, had to change rooms, then the fridge didn't work, it was replaced, but still frustrating the carpets were very dirty the bathtubs were very slippery Breakfast was good I wish we were offered a discount for having to change rooms

Reviewed By taytaybanana97I want refunded sent I didn't get it and they say that I was refunded my $50 onto my card and I was only supposed to pay $62 for my room and I was charged 109 then they started banging on the door at 9:30 tell us to get our stuff and get out when we didn't even have to be out till after 11

Reviewed By lajoyajI booked and paid a hotel room tonight at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott-Pontoon Beach. When I was walking in I saw a sign that said can not book to someone within 50 miles. I provided my ID and debit card for the hold fee. The front desk agent Paula states I can not check in due to my address on my id being Florissant,MO. I attempted to explain I just moved and have not gotten my new id. She explains it does not matter she has to go by the address on the id. My girlfriend said if there was a way she could put it in her name. She said yes I explained how would that work if I paid for the reservation. Paula said I have to call who I booked the hotel with. I first called Marriott customer service and they said there was nothing they could do because I didn’t book through them. Since I used the Hopper App I chatted with someone who then got in touch with Marriott and switched the name to my girlfriend. While we were waiting, a woman checking in asked about the sign. Paula answered it was due to COVID. Mind you NO ONE had a mask on not even Paula. So if COVID is such an issue then why wouldn’t she be wearing a mask? My opinion is because this hotel and others in the area do not want people from St. Louis booking rooms with them. This issue is discriminatory to me. I’ve booked hotels all the time and never ran into this issue. What if I wasn’t with my girlfriend? I would have had to sleep in my car or drive 6 hrs home. This situation should have NEVER happen.

Reviewed By dgulli106999The room was dirty, the bed linens were ok but the bathroom towel you could read thru. Non smoking room but could tell some kind of smoking had been done in this room. Floors were sticky. I literally had too dust the backboard behind pillows. It was disgusting all the way around.

Reviewed By lovingmarriedsI was pleased that they could accomodate my request for the handicap room on first floor. We could not have stayed here otherwise due to stairs required to get to 2nd floor rooms. We were disappointed with the odor of the room. It possibly was caused by the open refrig. which had a tray full of water under the freezer. Maybe it had germy water? The room was larger than average and had numerous electric sockets which was handy for charging devices. Nice clear tv with plenty of channels. Great-looking pool which we didn't use.
