The Posada Ignatius Guesthouse is perfectly located in the heart of the Rioja region, famous across the globe for its excellent wines and cuisine. Enjoy your stay in the 15th Century building where Ignacio de Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, stayed until 1521. The guesthouse has been totally renovated and is situated in the privileged location on the crossroads of St James' Way & The Ignatian Way.
Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully renovated and furnished. The communication with the hosts was excellent and there is a warm welcome. I highly recommend this accommodation in a lovely small town with bars and restaurants. We were walking the Camino, the accommodation is on the route and a lovely retreat

This is a well situated, pleasant, very clean and comfortable hostel. The staff are helpful and friendly. At €25 for a nice single room with ensuite this represents good value for money. Highly recommend to other pilgrims.

The Hotel Rey Sancho is located in the center of Navarrete's villa, in full Way of Santiago, which allows him to be a participant somehow in this historical route.House rehabilitated of the 17th century that was used as place of stables belonging to the Church of the Asuncion destined to the use on the part of nobles and ecclesiastics. This construction was forming a part of the primitive villages that gave place to the foundation of Navarrete's villa for the King Sancho Abarca.
This is obviously an old historic place, well-maintained and clean. Navarrete is a tiny place, so no need to say that the hotel is centrally located. A friendly lady greeted me at arrival and gave me a map. The room was spacious, huge bed, two night stands, table, chair, luggage bench. The bathroom was quite big equipped with a bidet and bathtub. The cleanliness was impressive. There was a vending machine in the lobby - you could buy cold water for 1 euro, and you did not depend on the availability of the staff. This could be a huge plus, when there is no fridge in the room, especially in the heat. Next to the hotel, there was another entrance which led to a few vending machines. So being there on a Sunday, it would not be a problem, if you wanted to buy a drink. The room was a bit dark, there was no lighting from the ceiling, which made it a bit difficult to pack a stuicase in a corner of the room. The toiletries were a bit difficult to open. They said that breakfast started at 730, but probably you had to announce this beforehand, cause when I was downstairs at 0730, there was no one around, and for quite some time. The stairs were unmarked, and it made it a bit hazardous going down especially in the dark, so I was not environmentally friendly, I valued and prioritized my bones - so I took the elevator, all the times I needed to go to the vending machines. The wall-plug was on the opposite wall of the bed where there was no furniture, and I was afraid I would leave my phone behind If I left it charging there. The garbage bin was a bit difficult to use, because it was too far away in the corner

San Camilo is a great natural farm size of 7 major football pitches, sports facilities, manicured lawn and over 300 various trees, in the Way of St. James. This information is very important: the use of clean energy, and the relationship between green space and the built environment, enable this establishment is a hotel with the ecologically sustainable category. The hotel allows pets , and has 24-hour reception.
Visited this Hotel on a stopover to Santander. Very pleasant, relaxing and tranquil area close enough to local town to walk in. Facilities were good as a 3 star, however this Hotel has the makings of a fine 4 star rating but this may out price it from the nearby accommodation. We will stay here again when we are in Northern Spain.

Hosting style B & B, located on the Camino de Santiago. In a seventeenth century palace, restored and tastefully decorated and comfortable environment. Personalized service and human warmth. Only 5 rooms. Special and personal service. Near Logrono capital city.
Wow this albergue is fantastic. When we arrived, Roberto offered us a glass of local wine and we sat in the garden and relaxed and enjoyed it. The albergue is so tastefully decorated it's unbelievable. Rooms are spacious. Its the best place we stayed in on the Camino. Highly recommend it.

Why does TripAdvisor say that this place is "temporarily closed" at the top of the page. I stayed there 2 nights ago and it was very much open. The hostal is beyond Navarrete old town but right on the Camino and is a standalone building. The owner was welcoming and helpful. She spoke some English and even carried my very heavy bag up the one flight of stairs. My room was very small but okay for one person. There wasn't room for anything more than the comfortable double bed, wardrobe, small table and stool. The TV was attached high up above the wardrobe. There were windows on two sides giving lots of light. The bathroom was also small with a tight shower enclosure but the ample hot water made up for the size. The walls in both rooms and the ceiling in the bedroom were finished with different colours of sponge applied paint. Quirky and interesting. The wifi worked well with a good signal and the heating was excellent. There is a garden to one side of the building but it was too cold to be outside. There is also a vending machine for chocolate and drinks outside near the front door. Overall, the room was warm and quiet very good value for what I paid.

Terrible experience. Told breakfast at 8 or go elsewhere. This is very late when walking the Camino due to the heat. At 8 there were a man and dog still sleeping on the sofa in the dark but with the television on and loud (24 hours). He told us there was no breakfast. When we went up to collect our things he locked all the doors and we had to leave by a fire exit. The previous night we returned after 10 pm to find 20-30 school children running around and shouting. They did this until after 12.30 am. There was a fairly scruffy back garden. Unfortunately, it seemed to be frequented by elderly smokers and noisy and quarrelsome children who were not staying there.
