Incredible value in family run gem
Reviewed By 192282I stayed here on a business trip and had a delightful experience. This family run hotel is spotless, rooms are large and comfortable for a very reasonable price. You are warmly welcomed and all amenities are explained including use of a fully equipped gym next door Breakfast buffet is generous and really has something for everyone Although there is no restaurant onsite, they do have snacks and beverages and are a short stroll into town. Do check it out, the old town is lovely with many terrific restaurants

Reviewed By KFF77This hotel looks like it dates from the seventies. Unbelievably poor value for money. Certainly not been updated for many years. No facilities in the room, tea/coffee, iron etc. Terrible picture on the TV and no English language channels. Even the bottled water was stale.

Reviewed By Judy LLarge, clean room. Warm welcome by the person who was waiting for us to arrive. Excellent breakfast. Can't really find a fault other than the room seemed to have much unused space. But this might be looked at as a +. I am not a decorator so I am not sure how to fix it so it doesn't look so sparse. It certainly has everything one needs for a nice stay.

Reviewed By Antje MPersonal sehr nett, Handtücher steinhart. Mega Lärm aus der Nachbarschaft. Hotelbesitzer hat nach Anruf von uns für Ruhe gesorgt. Ein sehr einfaches Hotel und alles ziemlich verwohnt. Eigentlich schade, mit ein wenig Einsatz und ein wenig Weichspüler könnte man evtl. Sich sogar abtrocknen.

Delightful food and wonderful wine
Reviewed By Peter WSimple but satisfying menu this hotel restaurant presents a great value for hotel guests and those stopping in for wine and meal. I will definitely by back. A wonderful appetizer is provided while you wait for your food. I particularly look forward to the rotating specials, but standard menu items are terrific!

Reviewed By Ennie987The hotel is okay, rooms spacious. Maybe a bit outdated with the furniture (beds/tv), however sufficient for a one or two night stay. The great thing is that there is the Main-Taunus Zentrum not far away (approximately 10-15 minutes walk) where you’ll find everything from restaurants, malls, shops. It’s a great outdoors shopping area. Otherwise the location of the hotel isn’t very convenient eapecially if you want to connect to the city center. And if you’re coming from the mall in the evening, there is a creepy and scary area where you have to pass - better to avoid in later evening hours.

Reviewed By Lucienne DAfter a 110km ride, I booked this hotel on Booking.com for my biking companion and myself (we were tired and needed somewhere to sleep for under 100Euros). The price was alright (80 Euro for a double twin bed room), and the room was ok too. When we arrived (~17:00), the reception area was completely dark and the door was locked. I used the speaker phone by the door to reach someone with regards to my booking... and after a few rings, someone answered. They opened the door for me (electronically) and let me in, where I was to pick up the phone at the receptionists desk. The phone started ringing there, so I picked it up and got instructions (via phone) of where to find the key for our room and the key for the barn in the back, to lock up our bikes for the night. I even had to go behind the receptionists desk to get the key. Nonetheless, everything worked out even without having to make actual contact with anyone. The room was old looking, green carpet and a green bathroom which was completely plastic. Reminded me of the plastic containers used in the hotel rooms in London. The shower was ok, and there were clean towels and everything for us to use. Other than that, the beds were a little too small and situated right next to the wall (each bed was next to one wall)... but we were happy to have somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was pretty good, but was not included in the price of the room (6 Euros per person on top). There were eggs, meat and cheese and good bread provided. The hotel staff (two women) were there in the morning to take care of the breakfast, and seemed quite nice from what little contact we had with them. All in all, it was ok, despite the weird 'welcoming' at the beginning.
