Hotel
It's was our first hotel ever in Japan during the first leg of our tour. It was cozy, clean, organized and modern. You don't really have to bring anything into this hotel because they can provide you with everything. The room is furnished with toiletries, big toiletries! Bottled water, slippers, even sleeping clothes! The toilet, wow, the toilet is very modern. Everything is just a touch of a button and the mirror? It never fogged! Only in Japan! Everything just amazed me. That night, we have decided to turn the lights off inside our room, opened the curtains on our window and just stared at the highway with all its blinking lights and cars. It maybe be busy but somehow it exudes peace. I really the food that they are serving during breakfast. The foods are all Japanese! I was really happy because everything that I would really love to try is served before us. It's a buffet type by the way but the foods are all delicious! The rice mixed with vegetable mountain is truly the best! Service is absolutely superb! The staff are very polite and helpful.

Initially on arriving at this hotel I wasn't very impressed, but that was probably more to do with the location which is beside a huge overpass highway and surrounded by some not very very interesting shops and restaurants. We had booked a room for two adults and two kids, and would have basically gotten a small room with a queen size bed for all of us. Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a large room with two super single beds width 120 cm each which worked out well as we could push these two beds together or keep them separate and still manage fine. The charge for this was 300 yen per night but they gave us a discount down to 200 yen for this upgrade. The room had good WIFI and aircon, a good clean bathroom and the beds were very comfortable although with hard and high pillows. Nothing much to watch in the TV, but in general the room was well equipped and even Pajamas were provided. Some good things about this hotel are the location as it is directly beside a train station, and the Airport bus stops just nearby too. If you plan to visit Osaka Castle then it is only 3 stations away, and getting to Nipponbashi will take around 20 - 25 minutes. It is just that the surrounding area seems quiet and not interesting as well as there being the huge concrete flyover and highway right next to the hotel.

SEKAI HOTEL is a hotel that sustains the local community. A whole town facilitates as a hotel. Breakfast at local cafes, taking baths at local public baths, shopping at local shops – which we define as ‘ORDINARY’. As soon as you come to this town, you are the part of the town. We partner with local businesses to provide those services. SEKAI HOTEL Fuse is located in the very Osaka style arcaded shopping street. It's suitable for travellers who demand deeper experience and stay like the locals. 15 min away from the heart of Osaka. All rooms are renovated of vacant houses/shops in the area. Industrial-styled interiors reflect the heritage of Fuse where is developed with manufacturing. SEKAI HOTEL collaborate with the manufacturers in Fuse, and we make our original lightings. You can do a field trip to those manufacturers too.* Bathroom and kitchenette facilities change depending on the rooms. Sharing bathrooms for some rooms. The cafe space is available by the reception. You can order a drink and chill at the cafe. All spaces in SEKAI HOTEL Fuse is smoke-free. * booking required
Sekai Hotel Fuse opened in Sept. 2018 and offers cheap, clean capsule bunks in a local shopping street about 15 min. by Kintetsu train from Namba. The staff speak good English, and each bunk has light, a charging socket, a storage locker, and a curtain for privacy. The hotel has a cafe-bar in the lobby, and there are convenience stores nearby, as well as plenty of restaurants, including a conveyor sushi chain. Fuse train station is very close, just a couple of minutes walk. As their logo says, this is a good way to experience 'ordinary' Japan away from the downtown tourist areas, and I am happy to recommend them. I stayed here 3 different times.

This is the worst "hotel" I've ever been in my life. It was disguisting, dirty, stinky. We were shocked what we have seen there and what we got compared to what we booked – apartament with private bathroom, two full beds, towels, bath accessories and so on. Instead of these there was no private bathroom, one "bed" (mattress on the floor), no towels nor accessories plus it stinked there, so we decided to change the place. I really don't know which place is shown on pictures but it's definetely not this ugly place. BE CAREFUL & PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE especially it wasn't the cheapest one we booked during our tour around Japan.
