This resort so they say is a 5 star, for my experience, yes nice view, good buffet but what is important is the cleanliness of the rooms. Details of my room reviews: 1. Loose toilet seat ( really loose!) don’t you think before renting this out should be part of the checklist? 2. Towels really looked used, needed to be tossed already! 3. Not so clean bathroom! Staff needed demonstration on what is clean! Surrounding areas: 4. Music playlist by the restaurant and pool, really slow, sound of drums! Should be upbeat sounds because people are on vacation ! 5. Beach area is dirty with waste candy wrappers, bottles, dog poop, with foul smell. Staff were courteous and accommodating . Nice view

Service wise, I think they have the most personalized one. The moment I docked at the port, I was greeted by one of their staff Ricky with a big smile on his face asking if I am for Las Marias Island Resort. Good thing he speaks Cebuano, so Instantly I am at home. Resort's location is very nice, you are just 20 to 30 meters away from the seashore. We were able to stay in their new executive room, which is OK. Island's electricity will only be open from 12:00 o'clock noon up to 4:00 o'clock am. The seafood they are serving is superb.

Price: P1,235 for a double bed Cons: room interior and exterior design is an eye-sore--- red semi sheer curtains, pink floral beddings, green table matt, thin mattress, Pail and flooring has vomit, water smells too, no hot and cold shower, cr is cramped, yellow building, noisy AC poorly positioned and with low HP Receptionist is only available during day/noontime, poor mobiledata/wifi signal. No picture coz place is too ugly. Caretakers/servers don't exhibit hospitality. Door lock broke, Did an advance booking but they seem to be not expecting us. A dirty bay is what awaits you when you head to the backyard Pros: 600 mtrs from the port, advised us to reserve in advance for Van-seating bound to iloilo. Self-service for drinks. Serves slightly expensive food upon request at daytime Place isn't picture-worthy so all I have here is the breakfast they served me.

Ludy's Pension House is located in Bancal,Carles,Iloilo. Facilities include a terrace and free WiFi is accessible. All rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The rooms have airconditioning, and some rooms at Ludy's Pension House have a patio. At the accommodation, every room is equipped with a setting area. The nearest airport is Roxas Airport,46miles from the property
I booked a room for an overnight stay on April 10 as we have a tour in Gigantes the next day ( which was cancelled because of the typhoon). I was expecting to stay at the real Ludy's Pension house but we were asked to stay in another building. The manager or owner did not read the message that i booked a room for 2 beds when she gave me the price for the room. She gave us one small room with 1 bed. I was told that i will have to pay more for 2 beds. I was expecting an Ilonggo hospitality as they claimed. But there is no homey feeling in this place. No water dispenser to drink hot or cold water. No tv. The room is very small that no 2 persons can both walk or stand. They have wifi though but I still didnt get the value of P1200 a night.

Huni Sicogon Bed and Breakfast is a 2-storey, 52-key resort situated in Sicogon Island Tourism Estate. The hotel sits at a beachfront location, where guests have direct access to the San Fernando beach. Here, guests will be treated to beautiful, expansive sea views with surrounding islands in the horizon.
Excellent resort with the best service. Stayed for three nights and four days. Got to hike going to Mt Opao with a local guide (around more or less a 3KM hike). Balay Cogon, which is another resort in the island that was equally nice. Overall, a beautiful resort experience!!

We truly loved the place. It doesn’t have any wifi or mobile connection, so it’s the best place to get disconnected and enjoy our own company. The staff are lovely. The resort employed mostly the locals who got the necessary training in hotel management, which is part of their plan to give back to the community. (The island has been closed off to outside development until recently when the developer of commendable reputation in the Philippines came). They’re all lovely and it’s a good taste for us to have an exposure on how pure island life is. Kudos to the management of the resort for handling this really well. The beach front is tops. The room and amenities are comfortable and no complaints. We love everything about the resort (took the beach front room). We will definitely be back. Update: the island recently was closed indefinitely, but the resort I heard remains open. Please check the news before booking.
