I booked a ‘picnic hack‘ for my horse-mad daughter for her birthday. We had a brilliant morning with Paul, our guide, who we followed horseback to a hillside cabin where we stopped off for our cup of tea! . The views were beautiful and the horses were fabulous. Donal, who dealt with the booking was responsive in emails and very welcoming on arrival, as were the rest of the Sheans team. We will certainly return and would love to do the beach ride next time. Overall - a great experience and a very happy teenager who can’t wait to go again!

We loved our morning hack here! It’s a super, family run stables and it was easy to see that all the horses are so well looked after and are really members of the family! Amy and Adam took us out on the fabulous Captain and Pilgrim, beautiful piebald horses for a fantastic hack particularly for my bf whose first time it was riding! Thank you all so much for a memorable and fun hack in the beautiful countryside near MacGilligan Point, NI.

Highly recommend this venue. Superb hack -- gorgeous, peaceful scenery even on an overcast day. All off-road. We opted for one hour private trek. Good opportunity to trot and canter. Amy, our guide, was excellent - very professional and friendly. The horses, Max and Sally, were perfect. All in all a great morning at an outstanding stables.
