This is a wonderful adventure particularly for young children. Gorgeous interactive water feature. Send rubber duckies down the river, climb giant rocks, swing, walk through the forest, or climb on the rope bridge in the tree tops. They also have nice seating for parents, coffee and pastries.

My wife and I stopped by after shopping at the Christmas place, (my reward for going shopping with her). I was not sure what to expect. I have been to a few small memorials and museums and was very impressed with this facility. The location is easily accessible and provides ample parking. We went on a Saturday morning around 10AM. There wasn't many people visiting so spacing was not an issue. The museum was well designed and the attendant (Mike I believe) was very helpful and knowledgeable. The displays were clean and bright. The information was detailed but not overwhelming. I found it interesting that they focused on individuals not events. There were a few videos playing and plenty of tools, uniforms and weapons to see. We spent about 2 hours which was about all my wife could take, lol. That was pleasant of time to take it all in. I could have spent another 2 hours but you can easily spend less time and still feel like you seen everything. I would consider this a must-see in Frankenmuth especially if you injoy military history or would like to show your gratitude to those who have fallen in defence of our nation.

Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge

This is a beautiful place for a nice drive in nature. The road through the refuge is great and takes you past a variety of habitats. We saw a lot of herons and Great White egrets, as well as ducks, pelicans and turtles. My mother and I were both struck by the peace and quiet of the environment and the beauty of the wetlands. I hope to return next year to hike the trails.

Tri City Brewing Company

Reviewed By janetsA3213KL - Hilton Head, United States

Tri city has a large selection of beers bet their Belgian brews are incredible. Tonight they had 9 on tap. I tried three of the Belgian brews; Wenona, Fortunata, and Torchon. Wenona was light and citrusy- similar to blue moon but better. Torchon and fortunata were amber in color and stronger flavored. I liked all three. Haven't found a better Belgian brew in Michigan. This brewery is exceptional.
