A must visit when traveling to Hokkaido during Summer where you can witness abundance of vivid colors. Access only by self drive, taxi or tour buses. The farm is beautifully managed and there are many souvenirs to bring back.

Though the scale is smaller , it has a good mix of flowers too . I luv the 2 cafes and their lovely food. It is not as touristy so u get beautiful pics without many people in the background. It is also linked thru a beautiful forest walk to our pension at Yamasan. So you can imagine how romantic it is to take a stroll from the pension , with birds chirping and pipe in music in the forest and wala ! u came upon the opening and a sea of lavender greets you !

Also, in winter, this chair lift is used for carrying skiers and snowboarders up to the top of hill from mid-January to early-March. If u love lavender smell or purple color this place you must visit and good month is July and August. They have a bus coach from city to go and way back take a historical train back. It's look like I m a movie star 555 in the lavender farm ????????
