Vancouver was founded as “Gastown” by an Englishman with a penchant for beer and storytelling. Today Gastown is a historic section of the Canadian metropolis, and the lively pubs still reflect the area’s former status as a sort of community drinking center. The city’s forests, grand parks, and impressive suspension bridge beckon travelers to explore them, as do the city’s shops and museums. Relive the glory of the 2010 Winter Games with visits to Olympic venues and the marvelous Olympic Cauldron.

We were looking for something fun to do with our family over Spring Break. This was a lot of fun for an hour. Helpful staff, our theme room was fun and COVID safe.

Stroll along Granville Street and you might just walk on by so make sure you know where this place is. An amazing 1920s gem that has a cool vibe, so much fun, and very helpful staff. There is also quite a character who has been working there over 30 years and he's keeping the youngsters on their toes. We had a group of five, rented a lane, bowled a couple of games, and even enjoyed some beverages from the cash only bar (but don't worry as there is an ATM right there). People were laughing and high-fiving as the pins went down and groaning and boasting along the way. Drop a coin in the nearby machine and see if you can get the high score on the punching bag. Or go throw some electronic darts or shoot some pool. No matter what your pleasure, go check out this hidden gem and you will be glad you did. And, yes, family friendly, many kids, and they were having a great time too.
