Brad and Heather are passionate about their wine, food and animals and it shows. We spent a very pleasant time in this small winery and enjoyed our visit tremendously. We ended up leaving with several wines, some balsamic and spices only the balsamic and spices made it back to Ireland. The wine was too nice and begged to be drunk.

Over 30 years in the making, Domaine de Binet is the realization of a young boy’s dream and is the family label of winemaker Daniel Binet. Domaine de Binet Wine Company focuses on interesting wine regions and alternate varietals. Visit the working winery enjoy a picnic on the lawn relax and enjoy wine country with hand crafted wines by Domaine de Binet.
We have visited Hunter Valley twice now and seen probably close to twenty vineyards here. This place has been rated highly by James Halliday and for good reason, or should we say good taste. We tasted the Domaine de Binet wines and were immediately blown away by the unique tastes. Our iHop vineyard tour operator warned us this is the place where people make their most purchases. More of an prediction than warning. Left with a box of great wines: Reds Accidental Tourist, Shiraz Dolcetto, Chambourcin; Whites Le Crazy Coq; Rose Moscato. Do yourself a favor and check in. You will enjoy the wines and friendly staff who know their products.

We are a small, family winemaking business in the Hunter Valley. Our Lovedale cellar door is a welcoming space for you to visit us - the winemakers. We'll share our passion for our craft, explaining as much or as little as you desire, whilst enticing you to purchase our handcrafted wines, as we lead you through a personalised tasting. Our desire is for you to be able to learn a little of our craft & take home a lovely pack of unique wines to share with your family & friends. Our two brands, stomp! and Pssst 'n' Broke, hint at what you'll find when you visit. We are down to earth, friendly, relaxed and love sharing our wines with those who appreciate fine wine, good food and awesome company. We also stock an array of gourmet condiments such as our legendary chilli jam, boozy jams, oils and olives. Our son also recycles our wine barrels and depending on the timing of your visit you will find an array of bespoke oak homewares - candle holders, wine racks, guitar stands, furniture...
We LOVED visiting this gorgeous boutique winery! Thank you so much for all your information Meredith, such a wonderful experience to taste with and learn from you. We can highly recommend this winery but in particular we loved the sparkling verdelho, rosè, sparking Chambourcin and muscat. However nothing we tasted disappointed. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts and delicious wine made a sensational tasting experience! We will be back.

Gartelmann Wines is a boutique winery set in the heart of the beautiful Lovedale area in Australia’s Hunter Valley. Founded in 1996 by Jorg and Jan Gartelmann, we specialize in hand crafted wines sourced from the best sites in regional New South Wales. Come and enjoy some of our medal-winning wines.
This was our first stop on a winery tour organized by the nearby Crowne Plaza hotel and it was a good start because their logo is a magpie and we have fed magpies for at least 15 years so obviously we like them. The physical location is the most impressive of the three wineries plus distillery we visited that afternoon. Jim was our host and he was both knowledgeable and entertaining. We purchased 2 wines glasses as souvenirs plus a bottle of Moscato (my partner's favorite) although I though their Pinot Gris was very good as well.

Had a wonderful Easter experience at Tatler wines - two hours of wine tasting with friendly staff - while our children were entertained by a petting zoo, face painting, a colouring competition, games, and an egg hunt. The wines were lovely, the setting perfect, and everyone came away very happy. Excellent

Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. A great selection of whites, reds, rose and sparkling on tasting - cost $5. Highly recommended when visiting the Hunter. Tip, given there are capacity constraints these days (due to Covid-19), I’d recommend calling ahead to book - particularly if you’re getting into the busier holiday period.

Wandin Estate is situated in the Lovedale area of the lower Hunter Valley, producing wines of premium quality exclusively available at our Cellar Door. As the first vineyard property off the Hunter Expressway, Wandin is conveniently located on a beautiful 100 acre estate. It is a unique destination for visitors encompassing Wandin Kitchen, Wandin Cellar Door, vineyards, villa accommodation, conferencing venues suitable for both weddings and events and a cr cricket oval all in a beautiful natural setting home to native wildlife, including kangaroos and birds.
We had friends visiting us locals for the weekend and with so many restaurants fully booked weeks in advance due to COVID occupancy limits, we thought we would give Wandin a try. We were just so pleased with our choice! There are 2 options available, a 3 and a 5 course menu with a number of choices within those options. We opted for the 3 course menu and were blown away by the standard and the presentation of the food. I had the salt cod for first course, the others had lobster bisque which were both delicious. I had duck for my second course and cheese for my third. All were excellent. Tim, the front of house waitperson provided outstanding, friendly and seamless table service. Our Sydney friends were very impressed by the quality and the value for money. Would highly recommend to our local friends and to visitors to our beautiful Hunter Valley.

My partner and I have been to this hidden gem a few times and each time we visit we are reminded of how beautiful and peaceful it is. These lodges are very well equipped, comfortable and quiet. We always get a great night sleep and are kept cozy with a gas log fire and air conditioning. The veranda with bbq is a great spot to sit overlooking the vineyard and watching the kangaroos and bird life in the afternoon is very relaxing. Sun rise, sunset, moon rise and the stars at night make this one of our favourite places in the Hunter Valley. Well worth a visit and it’s in Lovedale, what’s not to love?
