Jo Ahearne MW has been making wine around the globe for over 20 years. She came to Hvar in 2014 to establish her own winery working with local grape varieties to craft hand made wines. Hands from London - grapes from Hvar. Jo offers a relaxed but knowledgable tasting experience at her Ahearne Vino winery in the beautiful hilltop village of Vrisnik on the north side of Hvar Island. The cellar door is open for tasting and sales from 10am until the sun goes down around 8pm. Reservations are needed.

I have been living in Croatia for the 15th year. I want to make a guest house in a place where I can see the Adriatic Sea! Emigrated to Croatia with the dream of Since 2006, we have been operating Hostel Tsuboya in Split, and since 2010 we have run Minshuku Tsuboya on Hvar Island. At the same time, during the split period, I taught Japanese at a language school.
