The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

We went with friends. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was brilliant. From the moment the actors mingled at the beginning to the end of the show we laughed the whole way through. Can’t wait to try Allo Allo and Fawlty Towers. 100% recommend to everyone.

This restaurant is simply amazing! While enjoying really delicious food, the place offers an entertaining live show, which makes your evening a blast. We celebrated my friends birthday there and I would like to say special thank you to the bar staff Oggy and Yohanna for being so welcoming, friendly and professional. They made our night super enjoyable!

Visited Saturday to celebrate my grandsons 21st. Five adults and three children, tables are set for ten so two other people on the end of our table which was a bit of a squeeze, especially when you don't know each other, but it was fine as they were very nice. Two youngest children age eight and nine had costume hire, unfortunately not much to fit them, found a dress for my Granddaughter but my Grandson had to wear an adult tunic. Bought them a crown and tiara and they were very happy. Four course meal was really good, fresh vegetable soup and lovely bread followed by a plate of pate, cheese and cold meats, chicken breasts served in a cauldron in a tasty sauce with fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked and really delicious finished off with warm apple pie and cream. Endless supply of red wine and ale but soft drinks and optional drinks need to be purchased at the bar. Entertainment amazing throughout, jugglers, gymnasts, singers and minstrels. The evening ended with sword fighting followed by a disco, although this is when we left as we had a long journey home. Only a short walk from Tower Hill station, St Katherines dock is a lovely setting for this venue. £50 for adults and £35 for children although you can purchase a family ticket which gives you a free child place, £135 for four. Atmosphere and setting fantastic, absolutely recommend.

Circus is a unique and quirky cabaret restaurant and cocktail bar in London’s vibrant Covent Garden. Circus is the ultimate one stop shop. The perfect venue in London for before dinner cocktails, after work drinks, dinner, celebrations, entertainment and a late night bar. Circus is a restaurant and show with a difference, brought to life by amazing and outrageous pop-up circus. Expect the unexpected as you see aerialists, contortionists, hand balancers, fire-breathers, hula-hoopers and much more. Our highly popular Pan-Asian menu (with meat or vegetarian food options), created and overseen by Executive Chef Andrew Lassetter, is designed for sharing. High quality food, amazing service and sensational short bursts of entertainment come together to create wonderful memories that will leave you surprised and delighted.
We had our Christmas party at Circus yesterday and it was absolutely brilliant! The food was delicious, the staff were so attentive and lovely, our waiter introduced himself to me the moment we arrived and was aware of my colleague’s food intolerance, ensured she had all the information she needed and made us feel so well looked after. There were also so many staff! We never needed to wait for any request. The shows were amazing, the cloakroom was remarkably efficient, I literally couldn’t fault it. It’s perfect for a really different, super fun group meal/ party.

The Pheasantry is one of London’s premier spaces for jazz, cabaret and more. In 2012, this beautiful and atmospheric room was nominated for Best Live Music Venue in the London Lifestyle Awards, coming second only to the Royal Albert Hall.
Housed within a beautiful building this is a pizza Express on the ground floor and downstairs there is an intimate room where some of the jazz greats entertain jazz fans. The downstairs room can accommodate up to 80 people I imagine and the sight lines are good from everywhere. The sound too is great affording every patron a thoroughly great experience. The upstairs restaurant is a bustling, elegant and spacious spot. It’s the regular pizza Express food making your evening an affordable one. Excellent choice for simply food or to explore downstairs and enjoy some quality entertainment.

With top drawer entertainment presented every night of the week, join us for the biggest names, in music and comedy. PizzaExpress Live Holborn will also introduce special appearances with great names from the arts, entertainment and sport in ‘audience with’ sessions. Set in the intimate basement of our newly designed restaurant, get closer to the acts you love. Great pizza deserves great company!
Saw Steve Harley last night at Pizza Express Live. An acoustic set that was excellent. Wonderful view from anywhere in the room, excellent sound and atmosphere. This is a superb intimate venue that I'm looking forward to returning to often. Food was, as usual, top rate although I'm not entirely sure my choice of the new Carbonara pizza was the best ( a little too creamy for my taste) but my wife's American Hot was great and the Tiramisu excellent.
