Reviewed By Michico2013チンギスハンホテルの斜め向かいにあるウクラニアンレストランの上の階にあるアパートメントスタイルのホテルです。10月下旬に止まった際は、久しぶりのお客さんと、歓待を受けました。ネット予約して、到着が遅くなること伝え、またモンゴルの友人に直接伝えてもらうなどの配慮をしたのですが、真夜中にホテルに着いたら真っ暗で玄関も鍵がかかってて入れない状態。ひょっこり中から出てきたセキュリティのおじさんに対応してもらい、中になんとか入れました。10月、既に底冷え感のするモンゴルの夜、しかも初上陸の日でした。付き添ってくれた友人がいなかったら、さらに面倒くさいことになっていたでしょう。 30分後に現れたウクライナ人のオーナーは気さくで、悪気のない様子。お部屋はとても清潔でキッチン、シャワー、ツインベッドのデラックスが一泊USD80.00。一階のカフェの朝ごはん付きでとても居心地が良かったです。late checkoutで20:00までお願いしたのですが、その時は私たち以外に宿泊者がいなかったので、ノーチャージでできました。とてもいいホテルなのですが、おそらく22:00以降はレストランもクローズするのでだれもいなくなるため、late check in の場合はオススメしません。

Hell on earth - a living horror movie
Reviewed By sm8899Honestly all I can say is avoid this place like the plague... To begin with my driver was unable to reach them by the telephone number listed, and we used the map/GPS to reach the ‘hotel’... Aside from the lit-up sign, it looked NOTHING like the photos. Climbing a staircase to the “check in” I found an old woman with a TV. She spoke no English and couldn’t make sense of my reservation (getting out a book). There was no internet to check/no offer of WIFi but I was shown to my “room” (up several flights of stairs) which didn’t have a key, pillows full of what felt like pebbles, a toilet WITHOUT A TOILET SEAT etc. she indicated for money and two other people arrived at this point, when I showed them ‘booking.com’ there was some sort of knowing looks between the three of them...By this point it was long past midnight and I had no way of checking other options so I decided to stay until sunlight as the area is pretty rough... I left around 6am after paying 35,000 (local) in cash and walked (using my offline maps) to the nearest hotel... I honestly believe this is a fraudulent setup and I strongly recommend you don’t fall for the trap as I did... This place is not worthy of one star let alone four...

X-Apartment is situated opposite to the Mongolia National University in the East Side of Ulaanbaatar city centre. Built in 2016, these serviced apartments combine comforts and privacy of a home with conveniences of a luxury hotel. There are two supermarkets and a grocery store on site, as well as a hair salon, fitness centre and two restaurants. Bus terminal is within 3 minutes walk.

Reviewed By Scott AThis hotel is a little bit off the beaten path in UB. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but not extravagant. The downtown area is a short cab ride away or a brisk walk from the hotel, if your like me the walk is great for people watching as this city wakes up in the morning. The real value in this hotel is the staff, they are great at making you feel welcomed and appreciated. They are great at recommending activities and sights to see in the city and have no problem with arranging taxis or activities for you. When you return back at the hotel that evening and your body is sore from exploring UB just pop into the spa in the hotel and enjoy a great massage $13 for one hour and you will sleep like a baby refreshed and ready for next day. This is the hotel for anyone if you like a little more adventure on the path less traveled, and it's a great place to start getting acquainted with the warm and welcoming Mongolian people.
