TripAdvisor travelers particularly recommend the Sheffield Winter Garden and the Botanical Garden. After dark, you’ll find a lively bar and club scene, a testimony to the town’s large student population.

Sheffield is the first and largest location of Hope City Church with an exciting, thriving congregation from all over this great city and South Yorkshire. With a brand new 1500-seater building on the horizon and a great momentum all over church life, we're packed full of families, students, young professionals and everyone else.
The hope city congregation are so welcoming to new people, and want you to fit in! I have been a part of this church for, going on, 4 years! And now I'm a part of the most amazing teams in this church. I recommend you visit

I'm not religious so I can't give you the lowdown on that side but it's a great looking building and preserved very well. Nice little cafe inside too. They do some well presented events too for the community.
A church for the city of Sheffield since Sept 2015. Every Sunday there are gatherings at 10am and 7pm with free coffee and snack 30 mins before. There is a time of music and singing to give thanks to God, there is usually a talk based on the bible. During the week there are regular events for those who might be spiritually curious. Plus groups for students, parents/toddler, healing prayers.
Welcome to Upper Chapel, a Unitarian meeting place in heart of Sheffield. Our Grade II listed building is situated on Norfolk Street in the city centre. A Trust Deed, dated 1704, established Upper Chapel as simply "a Public Meeting House for the worship and service of Almighty God". So it remains.
