Perfect beach for an early morning walk - about 15mins between each rock platform . Off-leash for dogs. Beach was always clean and waves pumping.

We drove down to the foreshore to look at the beach and go for a walk. Turners Beach was quite busy with board riders, sups, swimmers and kids having a fabulous time. There is lots of parking, a clean amenities block as well as an outdoor shower. We walked along the break wall enjoying the views over the beach, the headland as well as the river entrance. Well worth a visit!

We first visited Surfers paradise and next we went to Byron bay. On the third day we found this hidden pearl of a beach, less known than the two mentioned above. When compared, this place was for sure the winner! The waves are amazing and super fun, they have a kiosk on the beach and also a sea water pool. On the top of the hill you can enjoy a great lunch at the pacific hotel. There were about 6 lifeguards on duty ( and the beach is not that big!) and a drone was used to look out for sharks. I can highly recommend this beautiful beach.
