“You have what it takes to be a victorious, independent, fearless woman” - Tyra Banks . Today’s destination pic takes us to a local protected wetlands zone, Lynde Shores Conservation Area. Bird lovers flock (yes I had to????) to this Ontario fav ????! A popular stopover for both waterfowl & shorebirds and home to local nesting birds, Lynde Shore Conservation area is a truly unique experience for outdoor & nature lovers alike! With wetland boardwalks overlooking the marsh and an abundance of friendly furry & fowl friends Lynde Shores is a favourite morning, afternoon or evening outing for visitors of all ages! The 5kms of loop hiking trails are stroller and wheelchair accessible making it an inclusive experience for all who visit????! Thanks to it’s protected status, visitors wishing for a more personal experience with the local wildlife (who are no stranger to company) can bring birdseed to share with their new found friends. Patience is rewarded by chubby chickadees eating from the palms of your hands and squirrels ????, ducks ???? and geese will follow feeders around for their fair share too! Hikers wanting a longer adventure can take one of the lengthier trails with the possibility of seeing wild turkeys ????, raccoons or even deer ???? on their journey! Definitely a must visit for nature lovers while in the Greater Toronto Area Tips: ➡️No dogs allowed ➡️Open dawn to dusk ➡️Parking enforced (pay at meter) ➡️Bring bird feed ➡️Wear comfortable shoes

Beautiful place. Has great trails. It's almost magical in the winter, the way the sun shines through the trees in the late afternoon. Although it's not quite as remote as it once was, the campground is long since gone and will someday in the not too distant future be completely surrounded by the urban sprawl. As a result It's getting harder to find the personal serenity there. Enjoy it while you still can. Also keep an eye out for coyotes, although they have never shown to be aggressive, they are there and I can personally attest to seeing them in the area on more than one occasion, including on my last visit.

Part of our shop local effort we go to Hy-hope farm weekly for delicious fresh bread and farm fresh vegetables. Butter tarts and pies are also fantastic. Shop local it is great!

Tasty and plentiful food. You can dine outside in the heated patio that has heat lamps as well. Due to the lack of ppl eating at restaurants currently, you can have the patio largely to yourselves. The drinks are also super sized as well. Great place to eat at especially for a low-key date night.

Durham Region's Premium Escape Room Experience. Come in to test your team's mental fortitude against the Keymaster and the team. Can you Escape?
Amazing place. Was my first visit and definitely won't be my last. Amazing fun. Only advice...dress lightly it gets warm being in a "locked" room!!!

The goal of the Brock St. Brewing Company is simple: Create amazing beers using all natural ingredients, support community events, local sports teams, while at the same time, help restore Whitby's historic downtown. Brock Street Brewing Company's new building is located at 244 Brock Street South in Whitby.
Good pub atmosphere. Food and drink prices decent and large portions. Mum over from the UK for 1 week and had Brock St three times...she loved the P.E.I. Mussels blonde lagered ale infused curry cream, grilled naan.

Landmark has a fabulous facility in Whitby. It's in the heart of a group of restaurants so it's perfect for a night out. The seating is super comfortable and the food area is very organized.
