Our mission: practice sustainable tourism, support indigenous communities, see animals in their natural habitats. Amazon Fronteras Jungle Tours is one of the few agencies in this beautiful region owned by a local indigenous entrepreneur. Riley Ahuanari Villar leads a team of 4 native guides, their background and expert knowledge serving as a book of wisdom for all of our travelers. We operate in Puerto Nariño and 4 indigenous communities, taking our travelers to non-touristic places to see animals in the wild. We do not support mass tourism or visiting places where animals are a tourist attraction. We invite you to join a nature experience and disconnect from everything else. Check out our Trip Advisor reviews and website to choose the all-inclusive tour that’s right for you!

Ethnobotanical center of environmental interaction. The park includes a large Collection of endemic plants, fruits of the Amazon, cultural scenerios, and the Aquarium. Here you can see the plants from the Amazon and explore their uses in an interactive experience. You will have a fun and unforgettable time learning about the jungle, and ecological processes we are developing to help the people and the rainforest. At the aquarium you will encounter exotic fish and reptiles only found here in the Amazon. This unforgettable experience is only 15 minutes away from Lecticia.ior citizens, and visitors with disabilities.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour through the different sections provided. Highlights were learning about the exotic fish in the Amazon River, being treated to the exotic fruits and plants, and learning about their incredible uses! Lunch was absolutely delicious and the entire experience provided many cherished memories for myself and my daughter.

This is like the high point of leticia, which really does not have much to offer within the town itself! This is a nice little park where you can go relax and enjoy the evening! There are swarms of beautiful birds that come in on a dally basis about 5-6pm and are really loud! There is a beautiful church next to the park that will allow you to the top of the steeple for 3 mil or $1, which gives you a breath taking view of the park and the area! There is always a police presence and a very safe environment anyway! The small food , drink and ice cream vendors all have some pretty good produce for about 2 mil each or 80 cents!

In Leticia, at the point where Colombia meets Brazil and Peru, the Banco de la República Ethnographic Museum is key to understanding not only the present and past of Amazonas province, its capital, and the whole of the Amazon region, but also the nature and cultural diversity of this magic region. Renovated in 2015.

We went to the church around 5:30 pm. For about US $1 donation you can climb to the bell tower and experience a unique experience : thousands of small noisy parrots will arrive to the park trees. The sun set and that unique gathering will create an experience that you will never forget.
