Iwate Prefecture (岩手県, Iwate-ken) is a prefecture in the Tōhoku region of Japan. Located on the main island of Honshu, it contains the island's easternmost point. The capital is Morioka. Iwate has the lowest population density of any prefecture outside Hokkaido. Baeren Brewery is located in Morioka, Iwate, Japan. We have very traditional and old vintage brewing equipment from southern Germany, carried them into Morioka which locates in Tohoku, far north up from Tokyo. The traditional way of beer brewing still lives on here and Mr. Miyaki who got certificated as a Brewmaster VLB in Germany makes wonderful beers. We sell our beer at the entrance of our brewery so you can drink and get some special Baeren goods there.
