Since the redevelopment of the Inner Harbor in the late 1970s, Baltimore has set the standard for urban renewal. While a good part of the city's action centers around the fun and festive Harbor area, where street entertainers, open-air concerts, fireworks and parades abound, the surrounding neighborhoods offer all sorts of interesting landmarks, unique shops and delicious restaurants. Wander around Fells Point, the oldest section of Baltimore, reminiscent of an old English village, complete with pubs and cobblestone streets. Take the kids to the aquarium and check out the imaginative creations at the American Visionary Art Museum. Or stop by the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum for an in-depth look at the Great Bambino's life. Baltimore is also renowned for its African-American heritage sites, plus festivals and cultural events that take place throughout the year. From historic places and harbor cruises to family friendly attractions and fabulous neighborhoods, Charm City is one of the top tourist destinations in the United States.

A: for the beer. This is nice, friendly, well-decorated brewpub that's not too crowded...yet. The owner/operators are very friendly and happy to answer questions and explain things. It has a nice open feel without looking to industrial--outside is subdued; blending into the residential neighborhood. Besides the stadiums, it's also a short walk to the B&O rail museum (an excellent collection and the first miles of track in US). The beer selection is varied with extended options---a stout and same stout with coffee, a hefeweisen and the same with orange added. Currently open only 3 days, I plan to return again soon. Oh, and Pigtown is named for the former meat-packing are of Baltimore.

Went here with a few friends for drinks after work. Here we enjoyed some locally craft beer. One of my favorite beers here was the hoppy 51 Rye also good was the Penchant Pils. They had a really good band playing while we were there.

Located in Baltimore, Charm City Meadworks is Baltimore's first meadery and fermenting honey into alcohol. We're going to give your tastebuds something to be excited about!
This is one of my "go to" places when I have out of town guests and when I want to spent a perfect afternoon with friends. Bring some food, a game and enjoy their delicious mead! I suggest always trying the "Project X" selections! Oops, I also forgot to mention their slushies! Can't beat one or two on a hot humid Baltimore summer day.

A rustic-meets-industrial brewery & taproom offering eight taps of craft beer in a chill space. Diamondback Brewing Co. is located in Locust Point at McHenry Row. We feature juicy balanced unfiltered beers such as Green Machine & Omar's OPA, with an amazing tasting room that offers a one of a kind experience. Visit us or find us at your favorite local drinking hole!
The taproom is slightly small, but there's also some nice outside space. Dog friendly is a plus for us too. Sampled a sour cherry gose, pale ale and the house New England style IPA. All 3 were great, with the IPA the slight favorite. Comfortable and friendly place with beer well worth the trip.
