Reviewed By SandrapragueWanted to stay at this pension for whole week with family, 2 adults and 2 kids. This worn down pension that charges like a five star hotel is trying to be a nostalgic place with kitch East German decoration such as old tiled bathroom, and it looked like from 70s Eastern European bad road movie. Tiny rooms with tiny shower/toilet The swimming pool occupied by other guests drinking from wine GLASSES, so not safe for kids, cannot complain to anybody as reception closed from 4pm. Not to mention the pension is next to a busy incoming road into Rust, so probably in the night you cannot open doors to rusty balconies due to road noise. We have not spend there not even one night. Tried to liase with the owners about the cost, but fat chance, They charged us for full week for two rooms including breakfast. We love Austria, but this b&b is a disgrace to this beautiful hospitable region of Burgenland. Even Basil Fawlty from Fawlty Towers would be proud of this place...

Reviewed By relaxiswinDer Gastgeber wirkte beim ersten Telefonat vor unserer Ankunft teilnahmslos. 16 Uhr schien ihm als Ankunftszeit zu spät zu sein, um uns zu begrüßen, daher wurde uns der Schlüssel im Schlüsselsafe hinterlegt. Das Zimmer im zweiten Stock mussten wir selber suchen. (Auf dem Weg dorthin: eine Nespresso-Maschine, wo der Kaffee (Selbstbedienung) pro Kapsel 2€ kostet, sehr einladend...) Meine Frau und ich haben gerade einmal 3 Stunden Schlaf bekommen, weil die Klimaanlage im Nachbarzimmer die ganze Nacht durchgehend im Bett deutlich hörbar alle 5-7 Minuten brummte. Der Gastgeber konnte dieses Problem nicht aus der Welt schaffen, da er nach eigener Auskunft eine Stunde von der Unterkunft entfernt wohne. Das Frühstück war sehr spartanisch; um Milch zu bekommen, musste man extra nachfragen, die feilgebotenen Wurstblätter konnte man auch an einer Hand abzählen und das Gebäck war offensichtlich aufgetaut und zäh.

Reviewed By A ALocated at market square. And the square is lovely. We took apartament with 2 sleeping rooms and small kitchen. The apartament could be a bit modern, but is ok. It is a bit noisy as there is a fountain outside. The keys must be collacted in other hotel. At the same place you will have a breakfast. And it is serviced fabulous stuff-home made fresh fruit drinks, local chees and ham, fruits (it is semi meditarian climate, so you can expect the best things), home made marmolade,

Frühstück ist in Ordnung, es ist alles da, aber trotzdem nicht mehr als Standard, also nichts Außergewöhnliches. Leider ist das Personal unfreundlich oder lediglich gezwungen freundlich. Man fühlt sich unerwünscht, aber das zieht sich fast durch das gesamte Rust. Schade.

Reviewed By reinhildesattlerWir waren hier eine Woche und sind begeistert. Sehr zentrale, trotzdem ruhige Lage. Die Wohnung ist modern und liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es wurde einfach an alles gedacht. Die Familie Karner ist sehr um das Wohl ihrer Feriengäste bedacht, die Buschenschank und den ausgezeichneten hauseigenen Wein kann man nur empfehlen. Eine Kellerführung mit Weinprobe gibt es wöchentlich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Super Ferienwohnung in traumhafter Natur, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Reviewed By anita5767Chefin sehr freundlich. Frühstück normal. Gartenanlage mit liebe gestaltet. Sehr schön. Aber wäre besser sich um die Zimmer zu kümmern. Sehr veraltetes Einzelzimmer. Zimmergrösse unzumutbar. Bad eine total karastrophe. Heizung defekt. Kein Zimmertausch. War 4 Nächte und wurde nicht repariert. Gab nur eine Decke noch dazu. Zimmerpreis unverschänt für diese Absteige. Nicht mal die hälfte wäre passend.

Reviewed By Hardy MunichWe’ve had the privilege to be part of a family wedding ceremony with a two 1/2 day stay in Tina’s very lovely little Hotel. With our 35 family-members, we had the whole Hotel with it’s very charming garden and outside but private space for us only. No other guests. Just perfect. Tina is an interesting artist, full of energy and always in a move to make the stay for her guests a special event. We had a very great time under her roofs.
