This is a new build hotel with the normal corporate Travelodge facilities with the added bonus of a bar and cafe onsite. As always the biggest asset are the staff, who were friendly and extremely helpful. Being new, everything was clean and shiny. Beds were comfy. Shower was excellent, and unlike many new hotels, there is a bath, if that’s your preference. There was also plenty of parking. My only complaint is that it’s opposite a building site which started work at 7 in the morning on Saturday. The constant beeping of a vehicle reversing siren as it drove backwards and forwards was equivalent to the most annoying alarm clock ever! Whilst I realise there’s little the hotel can do to prevent this, I recommend you keep your windows shut to minimise the disturbance. Other than that this is a very good hotel and I recommend it,

Luxurious refurbished 'B' listed iconic house situated to the west end of Elgin town centre within 5 minutes walking distance of the train and bus stations. Every room has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, giving our guests a guaranteed comfortable stay to remember.
Stayed at St Michaels for 3 nights whilst visiting my son in Elgin. The Guest House is very well situated and is within easy walking distance to the town centre. Our room was very large and was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also large and very clean. Breakfast is served on the ground floor and has a large selection including full Scottish. There are also some gluten free options. I have read some comments about traffic noise and to be honest our room faced the main road but i cannot say at any time that this caused any problem. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We are a family run Inn with 5 en suite letting rooms, consisting of one Family Room, and four Doubles,a residents dining room, and open plan Bar. We are situated next to the Harbour and Beach in the Seaside town of Burghead on the Moray Firth. Our home cooked Bar meals are popular with visitors and locals alike and we have a special Steak Night each Thursday evening. Burghead is famous for our Pictish Fort site, our annual fire festival (Clavie), and the Moray Firth Dolphins, which can be seen off the Headland on any given day. There are many walks here, with Findhorn some six miles west along the Bay. Water sports are popular in Summer, and there are many golf courses nearby.
Friendly, welcoming hosts for this early evening supper. Uncomplicated menu, good local pub offering good hospitality to visitors and their obviously loyal local following. Hosting pool players on this particular evening which all added to the feeling of being a real place for real people! Thank you for your hospitality.
