The lodge is environmentally sensitive, harmonious with the natural features of the site and accentuates natural daylight to all facilities. Local knowledge and art has been incorporated in the development and the lodge has been constructed using local manpower. The lodge is rustic yet deluxe, finished with fine cotton and handcrafted furniture. The lodge is set in a forested estate of 32 acres over looking sal forested hills on both sides. Bandhavgarh was established in 1968 as a National Park, and is spread over an area of 448 sq. kms. This national park was declared as a tiger reserve under Project Tiger in the year 1993. It is predominantly covered with vegetation like SAL, SALI, DHOBIN and has vast stretches of grasslands spread over 32 hills, the region though smaller than other wildlife parks has one of the highest density of tigers in the world.
Wonderful experience with King's Lodge and Pugdundee Safaris. It was smooth and easy from the beginning to the end! Due to certain unfortunate circumstances we had to reschedule our trip and safari dates. It was an absolutely no questions asked and hassle free experience, with the help of Mr. Pankaj from Gurgaon. The gates recommended by him were 100% eventful (14 sightings in a day). It was a memorable trip thanks to all the staff and especially Mr. Amit Mukherjee for the seamless coordination and execution. We had booked the pick up and drop from Jabalpur with them. The vehicles were in excellent condition, the drivers were very cooperative and polite. Expect a warm warm welcome and reception on arrival. The rooms have a beautiful ambience. The staff is very soft spoken and compliant. Excellent service and thoughtfulness is an add on. Right from providing bottles of chilled water and the most refreshing nimbu paani on the safari jeeps to the packed sandwiches on the way back to the airport - it all touched just the right chords. Their in house vegetables and butterflies garden is very well maintained by the maali Shyamlal. The food is delicious and served with so much affection, don't forget to count a few extra kilos by the time you are back home. The rooms are cleaned and done twice a day. All provisions are replaced from time to time. Wildlife documentaries broadcasting happens in the common TV room in the evening. *We had a medical emergency at 2 am and they arranged for a jeep to a visit to their in house Dr, it was sorted and taken care of promptly and appropriately. Highly appreciated!* IMPECCABLE Definitely going back. Surely visiting their other properties!!!!

20 air-conditioned luxury suites with attached dressing rooms and elegant western wash rooms. In addition to the conventional wash rooms each suite has its own open-to-sky shower area, verandah and small courtyard.
I recently stayed at the Aranyak Resort and had the most amazing time!! The food is delicious, pool is beautiful, and the location is so close to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Above all that, the staff is so accommodating. Specifically, Rishi, one of the head staff members, helped us with every request we had for him. He even helped us have a poolside buffet with decorations for one of our friend’s birthdays. I would 100% recommend this resort to anyone traveling throughout India.

Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge. Access:• Jabalpur Airport (200 Km) • Khajuraho Airport (270 Km) • Umaria Railway Station (32 Km) • Kanha (280 Km)Located within walking distance of Bandhavgarh National Park’s main gate, the lodge has been developed on the theme of an Indian village, with twelve thatched double–bedded cottages around an inner courtyard. There are two separate villas with further accommodations of eight rooms. A spacious thatched dining room serving home cooked Indian food and Continental cuisines, becomes the center point of activities like campfire performances, lectures and star gazing. The estate has meadows that attract deer and fruit trees that are home to birds and butterflies. An occasional alarm call from the jungle close by alerts you to the tiger on the prowl! Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge provides a professional resident naturalist, a library with wildlife books and magazines. Laundry services and recreational activities are also available – Jungle safaris in open 4x4 vehicles, bird watching, nature or village walks, elephant camps, and visits to the weekly market local fair or village schools. Bar-be-que dinners and campfire nights with tribal dances are some of the surprises in store for you!
Eleven family members of the age group of 7 to 79 with different temperaments, likes, dislikes and what not... but as we entered in the Bandhavgardh Jungle lodge everyone turned into the person who was longing for the purity of nature. While I and few other members were looking for a modest stay others wanted luxurious five star stay. Jungle lodge provided everything each one of us expecting for. It has simplicity and warmth as well as the feel of luxurious stay. Lots of areas for outdoor play, beautiful dinning area with books and indoor games and huge wooden swing :) Shivaraj , the naturalist of Jungle lodge provided us with interesting wild stories of bandhavgardh history and tigers ruled in that forest. He himself is a very good wildlife photographer. Rooms are cozy and specious. Bathrooms have ample natural light throughout the day. Food is local, tasty, variety of dishes cooked by the chef. The way their staff serves food, you do not feel , you are in the hotel but in someone's home :) And on the top of it if you get to listen Chital distress calls right from the terrace of the hotel... what else you want! Hotel is located just outside of the core area and half km from Tala Gate. Absolute Delight ! Thanks Aniket Gupta ( [email protected] /9158146581 ) for arranging this trip for us and strongly recommending this place to stay.

On and among the trees in our five tree houses there is a route to hide away of fantasies. In the 21 acres area of land lies an option of experiencing the snug life inside the rooms or venture out in the tiger-infested wild. The property has its resident species of birds, reptiles and animals residing around the forest trees and over time the area has now become a small secure park for them. You can spend your time unseen and undisturbed in the intimacy of your room or choose to go looking for wild animals & birds in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
The idea of visiting Bandhavgarh just clicked and we stumbled upon this property while searching over the internet. Reasons like an actual TREEHOUSE to experience, great reviews, located right in the middle of the forest (buffer zone) were good enough for us to finalize this resort. Mr Pankaj, who was very helpful, helped us with the bookings and payments. We took flight from Delhi to Jabalpur and from there hired a cab to reach this magnificent property. We were awake since last night and way too tired after the flight and visiting Bhedaghat Boating Point & Dhuadhar Falls (the hidden gems of Jabalpur) in the morning. But almost 3 KMs before this resort, our tiredness & fatigue simply vanished. It was like we entered a fantasy world. The melodies of the birds, tress and everything about the forest got us fully charged. Upon reaching, we were warmly welcomed by staff. We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days Everything at this resort was amazing. The room was spacious, well-equipped with all the modern amenities that allowed us to enjoy the nature with utmost luxury. The first night dinner in the forest, known as Bush Dinner, was a pleasant surprise. Luckily, our mobile internet was working great so we never felt the need for the resort WiFi. The food was so delicious especially the Carrot Salad & the cold soups, that I crave for them now even while writing this review. Big Shoutout to Mr Ashish, Chaubey Ji, Pandit Ji and their whole team of Treehouse Hideaway for their dedication, humility and sincerity. They made sure that our trip was no less than a memorable stay. We were quite apprehensive for our 2nd day Tiger Safari as we had pre booked only one but Mr Ashish convinced us to go for another one as one is not enough! Guess what, it the best decision we made as we ended up spotting 4 tigers!! Chaubey Ji made sure our breakfast during the morning we left for Tiger Safari. Moreover, he was our guide during one of the Tiger Safaris. You will surely love his legendry folklore about the tiger reserve, forest & life. Pandeyji has been with the resort since it's inception. He happily accompanied me (without even me asking him) for the safari booking, which I decided at the last moment. He made sure that the booking was done smoothly. One of the best things about this resort was the breakfast they packed for us. It was sufficient not only for us but also the driver and the guide. We would love to visit this resort again and again!!

The Mahua Kothi Lodge features 12 cottages, each of which is accessed by a spacious private courtyard with shaded seating and traditional stone floor. Interiors include wooden shutters, hand plastered mud walls washed with lime, roughly hewn wooden rafters and handmade pottery roof tiles. Floors are dressed in the locally sourced ‘Katni’ stone. Large wooden puppets adorn the walls while several small alcoves sport arches with geometric tribal patterns in keeping with local trends. A king-sized bed faces an enormous window overlooking a delightful wooded patch. A wide window seat with mattress covers and bolsters in tones of rust and burnt orange contrast delightfully with the vibrant green outside. Each ensuite bathroom features twin hand basins with vintage brass tap fittings placed in front of a glass window covering most of the wall. Bamboo blinds lined with raw silk can be drawn for a view of trees and bamboo thickets as guests ready for safari. The bath tub is lined beside a wall with beautiful ‘Jaali’ work while the step down shower area is provided with a shiny brass bucket and mug in case guests wish to take a ‘bucket bath’, as most rural Indians do. Experience the best of jungle safari at our resort in Bandhavgarh National Park!
Stay for one night, loved the stay! ‘keshu’ was super helpful. The chefs served amazing food , lovely preparation. People are warm and courteous and ready to do anything to put a smile on your face. Some places of improvement: 1. on arrival , we were stopped and made wait outside the property by the guard due to some confusion of our reservation. We waited out the property for about 10-15 mins. Super negative Taj arrival experience till date. Not acceptable. 2. Bathtub drain was broken due to which we were not able to enjoy it.

We decided to celebrate our milestone wedding anniversary at Bandhavgarh and stayed at Samode Safari Lodge We couldn’t have chosen a better place and lodge as it turned out to be a memorable and eventful week (thanks to the Tigers and Bears), for us. Our naturalist Abhimanyu a.k.a Guchi was extremely knowledgeable and it was great interacting with him all thru’ our drives. Our drives were spread over Kitauli, Tala and the Magdhi gates. We spotted 21 unique Tigers (yes, you read it right!) not including the repeat sightings. But the best sighting were the Sloth Bears – two different ones, one in the morning and one later in the evening. Oh, did I mention the leopard sighting as well? If you are looking at perfect wildlife holiday at Bandhavgarh, look no further than Samode for your stay. Even if you are not so inclined to go on a drive one day, you can sit and chill at their stunning swimming pool spotting countless birds including the Purple Sunbird, Drongo, Green bee eater, Paradise flycatcher and Kingfisher. The service at Samode is excellent , their staff extremely courteous going out of their way to ensure your stay is most comfortable. Kudos to Priyam, Anshuman, Swamideen, Chefs Sunil, Shiv and everyone else @ Samode. Please keep up the good work. We cannot wait to be back!

The Roaring Salvan County is the most distinguished address of adventure, luxury and comfort in Bandhavgarh. Named after the mighty tiger's roar which is quite frequently heard around The County and the Sal tree which is found in abundance. Located near the Dhamokar gate of the prestigious Bandhavgarh National Park, The County is exquisitely designed keeping in mind the modern life-style, it has a view of the jungle that can be enjoyed from the comfort of your bed. The ten luxury cottages are equipped with all the modern amenities like bath, two shower areas of which one is out door under the sky. The concrete cottages have been created as a beautiful combination of hand-finished walls, wooden doors, and granite floor with hand-made potteries adorning the space. Dining at the County will be an exciting experience itself, with several deliciously surprising twists and turns. Fresh local ingredients, homemade accompaniments, fruits and vegetables grown in backyards, ancestral cooking and dining customs, and quaint ambiances creating a never-before dining wonderlands that will give you as much of a rush as the game drives to follow. Swimming Pool, Jungle safari, jungle walk, bird watching, folk dance, mini library, Carom, Volleyball and badminton are just a few of the activities that our esteem guests can enjoy while at The Roaring Salvan County.
Property is great but food is just everything in terms of international market. Stay is perfect and suggested as team is really good. Food has to be improvised as they dont put salt at all and food is prepared as per international taste . The basic vegetable is at 300/- Inr. Property is not that away from main coty but food prices are extremely inflated with ultra small menu. Suggested to look for personalised food options but yes stay is perfect.

Nestled among the picturesque Vindhya hills & the natural beauty of the wilds, Bandhav Vilas is the luxury jungle resort on the edge of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. The perfect base from which to explore the territory of the majestic tiger. The resort setting is picture perfect with a dramatic watercourse and sun kissed private sit outs & decks. Charming luxury Villas, contemporary interiors with traditional touches, luxurious bathrooms & private open on sky courtyard are in perfect contrast of the ruggedness of the jungle.
This place is like home. Beautiful landscaping. Super helpful and polite staff. Mr. Ram is the I house naturalist but will carter to any help you require. Food and service is excellent. We have stayed here 2 times and would definitely go back when I get another chance.

Thirty acres of your own private reserve surrounded by almost a thousand square kilometers of National Park makes for an unforgettable experience. Add to that a one acre perennial water body confined within the perimeter of the property making for your very own watering hole, and the experience becomes twice as magical.
I travelled with my family and friends and had an outstanding experience with Bagh Tola - from the reservations, to arrival, accommodation and food. Kaustubh is a fantastic manager - made us feel absolutely at home. Safaris were arranged and executed like clockwork. Highly recommend this property.
