Fabulous outside water play facility for kids (young and old). Different water slide options, tipping bucket and more. Seating and toilets available and parking nearby. Water is (of course) very chlorinated but the hug smile on my daughter's face when here was a joy to see. Wish there were more facilities like this in SA.

After checking out the three other public disc golf courses in the state, the Woodhouse course was the last on my list. Easy to access, friendly staff on site offer the loan of discs if needed, it was a fun course. It was busy with a large school party, but even then no waiting to play was required.

Enjoyed a couple of hours here with my young teen children. We played basketball, fun going through the maze and had adventuring around the park on a beautiful autumn day in the Riverland! Well maintained free park by the local council! Thanks!

Had a fun experience with some friends! Great place to stop for some nachos, pizza or ice cream and play a game of mini-golf or have a sneaky slide session. Best part is they sell cinnamon donuts all year round and make their own ice cream. There were flavours I had never tried before like kinder surprise and Turkish delight and it was delicious! The staff are so kind as well which added to the experience

Penola Fantasy Theme Park,Model Railway & Tea Room

The Penola Fantasy Theme Park & Tearoom is a very unique experience. Based upon Surrealist visual principles, hundreds of visitors from around both Australia & over seas have NEVER seen these vistas before, supporting a model railway. Visitors wander through very distinct environments, starting with the 'PLASTIC FANTASTIC RAILWAY' as you leave the car park. Trains, buildings, track are plastic. Then one enters the Tearoom, with its espresso coffee, Devonshire teas & other drinks. From here, one steps into the enclosed, 'MERLIN'S WORLD' home to a pond, 2 waterfalls, trains, HIGHLY DETAILED DIORAMAS of different themes & a YOU are able to 'drive trains area'. Stepping outside, is the '' ENCHANTED WATER GARDEN' with its large pond, waterfalls, plantings, Castles,{ some floating}: operate remote control boats & undercover, slot cars. As a backdrop, is a 1850's Cottage. Photos can also be taken with Merlin the Wizard, Count Dracula, Belvadeer the Butler & 2 witches, Mildred & Myrtle.

I have been here several times, both as a teacher with a young primary class, and as a parent with friends. Every child (an adult) I have been with loved it! It's very engaging and so much fun for the kids. We teamed it up with Bailey's rocks and the kudshad the perfect day. Definitely worth dropping in.
