A holiday in Norfolk is not a glamorous break. While the Norfolk Broads of East Anglia are a beautiful part of the UK, they represent a relaxing rural getaway rather than a high-powered city-break. Although its reputation is mostly rural, with people associating the county mostly with the wetlands of the Norfolk Broads, there are also towns such as Norwich and King's Lynn to visit, both of which provide shopping opportunities, nightlife and entertainment. Norfolk also contains a large stretch of coastline, and seaside destinations such as Cromer and Great Yearmouth mean there are great beaches to be found as well. Many areas of the Norfolk Broads and the coastal region are sites of outstanding natural beauty, and are also protected as bird reserves, so take a pair of binoculars on holiday. There are also popular wildlife attractions such as Banham Zoo, with a great collection of big cats, and Great Yarmouth's Sea Life Centre, one of the biggest of its kind in the country, complete with tropical sharks and conger eels. And of course, if any of your family are interested in boating, you'll need to rent a boat and explore the waterways of the Broads themselves!

Open on selected dates February - October. BeWILDerwood is a wild and imaginative adventure park with magical treehouses and hints of intriguing characters, bringing a curious difference to the Norfolk Broads. The setting for the book ‘A Boggle at BeWILDerwood’, by local children’s author Tom Blofeld, it’s a wonderful, mystical place. Parents are encouraged to play alongside their children, which makes for a fabulous and brilliantly exciting time for the whole family.
Had a great day out with my niece and nephew, loved the feel of the place from the onset, lots to do for young and old, sky maze was brilliant, activities are great, just walking round all the tree tops and down slides wAs pretty amazing , food fairly priced would definitely return.

A great day had by the whole family and my girls (young and old) throughly enjoyed themselves. Lots to do to keep you busy ... play park, splash park, crazy golf, dinosaur trail, high ropes, pedal karts just to name some! Hand cleaning / sanitising facilities throughout the park and it wasn’t too busy. Will definitely return!

The original and still the best. Set in the heart of Britain's largest lowland pine forest, our first ever course is centred around 30 miles of bike and walking trails from which to explore 50,000 acres of forest. And the mother of all our courses features our classic Tree Top Adventure, Forest Segways and Tree Top Junior. Our Tree Top Adventure features a NEW Tarzan Swing, back-to-back black crossings (don't worry, they're optional!) and an Alpine zip (that goes from tree to tree). Now that's worth shouting from the tree tops! And the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist. And Thetford Forest is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Mini Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!
Excellent time with my two boys (6 & 7) at Thetford GoApe on their Treetop Adventure. Really good information given by the instructor with good social distancing measures in place. There was plenty of time to get round the course two (or three times for my speedy eldest). Thank you.

Joyland was great as usual ! It had been a few years since I’d last been there but the place is still just as magical! For £1 a ride - you cannot complain, all of the rides provide a very unique experience. The Tyrolean tubtwist is the only ride left of its kind within the Uk and is great fun! The Spook Express Rollercoaster is set on top of the toy hill making it very unique and goes in and out of tunnels, and of course The Snails (also the only one of its kind left in the UK) makes a great (slightly painful????) ride ! It’s rickety and old but it all adds to fun! I also adore Neptune’s Kingdom where you go “under the sea” and get to meet Neptune on your way out. There are more rides too like the cars, Ferris wheel, a spinny-type ride, mini pirate ship and a mini umbrella ride. I honestly recommend a trip. It’s very fun!

The Pleasure Beach with its mixture of modern and traditional attractions sits at the top of Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile dominating the seafront skyline with its rides. Spread over nine acres, the Pleasure Beach offers huge family fun, full-throttle white knuckle rides to exhilarate and thrill, water attractions to catch your breath and fun rides to keep the children happy for hours. Our roller coaster has been the star attraction since 1932 and is still a crowd puller today. Nearly 1 million visitors enjoyed the Pleasure Beach experience in 2018, confirming our place in the top 10 UK free entry amusement parks. And even more attractions, rides and innovations are on their way.
Love it that the fairs here, it has rides to sit all ages and is a proper fun fair that has grown with time and fits into the seaside pleasure world of Great Yarmouth

RAINBOW PARK is based in Hunstanton on the North Norfolk Coast. We are situated right on the seafront in close proximity to the Sea Life Sanctuary. With ample parking and a council run public toilet opposite the site, it is easily accessible with all the necessary amenities close at hand. There have been fairground rides in and around Hunstanton since 1880. Our family have been on the site for over 50 years and now under our own operation we are hoping to make RAINBOW PARK the family attraction to visit in Hunstanton and Norfolk. What we offer on RAINBOW PARK is really something special as a family owned business we are definitely family run for your family fun! We have a wide range of rides for children and adults. Offering all the traditional family favourites as well as unique thrill rides that you don't always see on a park of this size. The rides on the park are provided by a number of independent operators prices range from £2.00 to £3.00 and on a pay as you go cash system.
This fun fair is a gem. Has something for everyone. My 8 year old son especially love the umbrellas, ghost train, rollercoaster, wavy slide and hook a duck. The prices for the rides are reasonable. Every member of staff were pleasant nothing was to much trouble. Will certainly be coming back.
