The staff is so kind and welcoming, they always make sure that you have everything you need no matter what. The villas are beautiful and so clean and the bed is the best ever! The view is just one of a kind and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing! I really recommend this place, I will be back FOR SURE!

CLV Hotel & Villa is located in the central highlands of Bali, It is a quiet place and removed from the crowded tourism where travellers can escape the pressures of modern living and close to nature. A haven of rest and relaxation, the hotel will offer total renewal just steps away from the city's numerous attractions such as Bedugul Botanical Garden, Bratan Lake, Pura Ulun Danu Temple.
Maintenance issue but delicious food
Reviewed By GunBaliStay in this place no need for an AC. This place is cold by nature. The good thing about this place are: All rooms with flat TV, however with limited channels. Even some national channels are missing from the list. Hot water supply is enough for two person in bathing period, otherwise the third person need to wait for the heater to heat the water. Water pressure is also good. Breakfast has limited choice, however all of the choice available realy taste good. We rarely taste good food in this remote area. The bad things are: This place realy need for maintenance, peeling walls, half finish building, abandoned villa. In front of each villa is local villagers, some of them has business such as vegetables supplier, parking lot etc. So be ready to see locals around. Rooms cleaning need good Housekeeping practise. Floor mopping need hours to dry. They need to use better mop in this area due to cold weather and damp.

If you don't read any farther, know that we have stayed at a lot of great hotels all over the world and our time at Alami was easily one of our best experiences. In terms of value for money, it may honestly be the best place we have ever stayed. Pictures cannot do justice to the amazing view and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If you are looking for unbeatable peace, tranquility, natural beauty, romance, and seclusion, this is absolutely the place for you! We will first mention the only bad things we could possibly say just to make clear this is an unbiased review. First, the water pressure was not great. It was good enough to get the job done, but still a bit weak. This is probably not the resort's fault, it's just the price of being sooo far removed from the city and its infrastructure. As you'll see, the positives more than made up for this small issue. Second, if you are looking for nightlife, shopping or any of the hustle and bustle of city life, this is not the place for you. It's about a 2 hour drive from the airport and a 30 minute drive from any type of businesses and restaurants. But if you want to escape the pollution, congestion, noise and other nuisances of city life and retreat to a stunning oasis of calm and serenity, like we wanted, this is the perfect place to stay! Finally, the dining menu was limited. Don't expect a huge variety of dishes to choose from. This is a small, boutique hotel located far from any suppliers. They cannot reasonably keep a huge amount of ingredients on hand to make a long list of different dishes. That said, like every fine restaurant, the menu was short but every dish they did make, they made to perfection. Seriously, we ate almost every meal at the resort and were so impressed by each and every one. We even asked to meet the chef on our last night so we could thank him in person and tell him what an amazing job he is doing. Attention to small details, creative flavor combinations, excellent use of local ingredients and superb presentation made each dish a special treat. Since we are on to positives, we cannot thank the staff enough for working so hard to make our stay incredible, from start to finish. They were always available and so quick to accommodate our every want and need. We decided spur of the moment we wanted to make a day trip to Nusa Penida and they planned out everything for us, making sure the only thing we had to do was enjoy ourselves. The front office was always available via WhatsApp and every staff member was so happy, friendly, helpful, and polite, we have to assume the resort is under good management. We booked the honeymoon package and they overwhelmed us with flowers, candles and other surprises to really make it memorable. We would highly recommend this package for other honeymooners. The villa and location were fabulous, but the impeccable service really brought our stay to the next level. The villa itself was well-furnished, clean, spacious, and comfortable, with lots of small details and accent pieces that really brought out that Bali charm. My wife especially appreciated how the bed linens were perfectly clean and smelled great. A variety of seating areas made the villa the perfect place to just relax in all day. The pool was clean and long/deep enough to swim laps or just laze around in to cool off. There was a small kitchenette with a medium sized fridge, toaster oven, sink and a good supply of dishes and utensils, which was very convenient. There was also a water dispenser with a gallon jug in the villa, which was nice since we didn't have to keep asking them to send us more bottled water like at most hotels. They really pay attention to all the small details to ensure a pleasant stay. Finally, that VIEW! I mean wow, nothing but gorgeous rice fields and palm groves leading out to the ocean. No other hotels, busy roads or concrete monstrosities to be seen. It left us feeling like we were staying on our own private island. We took so many pictures but none could really capture the beauty of it, especially how close you feel to the sea. At night, it's the perfect place for stargazing. Just sitting and enjoying the view, hearing only the birds chirping and the palm trees rustling, was perfect for just relaxing after all the stress of planning and making it through our wedding. We cannot rate this resort highly enough and plan to return again someday soon.

We stayed in Soka to celebrate a birthday and booked because of the facilities they offered but it turned to our most TERRIBLE experience. 1. Kitchen, the stove was broken and rusty but the staff managed to replace it by gas stove. 2. Bedroom, wall and interior were mouldy. 3. TV, no signal even not for local channels. Staff said they no longer subscribe TV cable (not sure what happened with the local channel. 4. Bathroom, extremely mouldy on the ceiling, head shower was broken, bath tube was dusty and broken, they provide us torn towel, hot water available after 6pm said the staff. 5. Pool, the filter was off in the morning so the water was lil bit muddy. No space for Pandemic reason if you provide those kinds of facilities. With IDR 500K you could find a better place to stay in 3-4 star hotel nowdays. We wanted to leave but I thought it would hard to get refund from the online travel agent so we tried to enjoy it by our own way Sorry to write this but I hope the owner read this and make some improvements. Madé, le père, Ayu, la mère, Oka, Niki et Niti, les trois filles, vous accueillent avec une gentillesse et des sourires bienveillants. Ce ne sont pas des sourires commerciaux mais l'expression d'un sincère plaisir à vous recevoir. Tout ici est simplicité et harmonie. Soyez certain que chaque membre de cette famille fera tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. A un prix très doux.

This stunning property is nestled atop a rice paddy terrace valley, with lush green coconut trees and crystal spring river running along the bottom edge. It has 5 large bedrooms and sleeps 10-12 people comfortably. The famous Tanah Lot temple is only 10 minutes drive away and a free shuttle is included upon request. There is also scooters available on site, if you feel more adventurous to cruise around an explore the beautiful natural surroundings or head into town and visit the traditional market only 7 minutes away.

Reviewed By Caroline MDon’t know where to start! This is beautiful amazing fantastic our whole family have had the best ever holiday ever in the Villa.. Bedroom has a swimming pool, bathrooms beautiful.. another bedroom has a roof you can open and gaze upon on the stars at night, out of this world.... the surrounding area is great it is in a proper Balinese village. The staff are wonderful could not ask for better total amazing. There are mopeds available at anytime to visit near by villages. Would I come back in a heart beat wish I could of stayed longer. Thank you Bob and to your staff it has been truly wonderful.
