A social and geographic confluence where East and West, North and South, religious and secular, ancient and modern all converge in kaleidoscopic display, Istanbul is as vibrant an urban destination as you’ll ever visit on earth. Whatever strikes your fancy, chances are it’s done with vigor in this mega city that’s too expansive – and cultured – to settle upon only one continent to call its home.

Otantik Guest house Hotel is situated in Fatih, approximately 20 minutes walk from Istanbul's main tourist attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and Hippodrome); and 5 minutes from the well-known fish restaurants. We can be reached from Ataturk airport by public transport (metro + tram + 10 minutes walk). Our local tram station is Beyazit-Grand Bazaar. Yenikapı Ferryboat terminal and metro station are also. within walking distance (approx. 10 minutes). Otantik Guest House has spacious double, twin, triple rooms. We offer free Wi-fi, Air conditioning, Iron, Ironing facilities, Wardrobe/Closet, Cleaning products, Shower, Hairdryer, Toilet, Bathroom, TV, Satellite channels, Wake-up service, Towels and Linens.
I have now stayed with Otantik Guest House in Fatih, Istanbul twice. This small guest house is gem in a sea of hotels. I am planning to stay again when in Istanbul. Hotel & rooms are super clean, staff are all family and, genuinely: polite, professional, kind, and helpful. It is only a few minute walk from the tram & metro lines & grand Bazaar. From there you can walk a few additional minutes to most museums and major attractions or take the tram or metro. Otantik is also in a more local type neighborhood which provides lots of good reasonably priced local food choices. Most Turk's don't speak English so I have had to reach out to Otantik a few times & even though I was not staying with them in Istanbul at the time, Yusuf immediately replied with accurate assistance & guidance. They have made my stay with them comfortable and my stay in Turkey much easier. Thanks Otantik for a cozy casual environment at a very fair price! You won't regret your stay. Brian Vermont, USA

We had been to Istanbul at the end of April, beginning of May 2019 and we staid at Molton Kabatas Hotel. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It is very close to Bosfor and the view from the window was spectacular. Also, it is very close to public transportation such as metro, tram, and bus. 15 minutes of walking from Taksim Square and 10 minutes by public transportation from Blue Mosque. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, there is a terrace on the roof where you can stay and enjoy the view. Nearby, there is a Carrefour market and a pizza place, several coffee shops. For sure we will choose this accommodation on our future trip to Istanbul. As a very small minus, the access to the hotel is rather difficult. There are over 100 steps ( as in stairs ) to climb, so if you travel with small children or lots of luggage, you have to take this into consideration.

Will not be coming back to this hotel, enough said! Room was cold and very gloomy. Miserable stay. Hotel was dirty overall. Staff were unprofessional and unfriendly. Hotel lacked maintenance, was in very poor state. Couldnt wait to leave.

Peteks Hotel located in the heart of the Historic Peninsula, Peteks Hotel is within a walking distance from many popular historic landmarks such as Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Sultanahmet Tram Station, which allows easy access to other central locations of the city, is within a short walk as well.
I booked a 3 bedroom apartment for this hotel between January 22nd and 28th, 2021. When I arrived at the hotel I was informed that the apartment was not available. I was offered a dirty, small room and I didn't accept it. They said they would return my money on January 25, but they simply refused to return it now. This hotel is awful! Horrible service and they are still liars. Elisa Hotel is for sure the worst hotel I have ever been to. I don't recommend it at all!

The whole builging is covered with smoke of cigarette and dust.... The rooms are not hygienic, beds are super-uncomfortable Aslında otelle ilgili aksaklıklar daha otele gelmeden önce başladı.

There are no staff onsite, you are given a code for the front door to the building and a code to the door of the apartment. But the apartment was amazing - It was massive! Very nicely decorated and a kitchen with Washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, fridge etc etc, all brand new. The apartment is 2 minute walk from Galata Tower, 5 minute walk from Istiklal Street and 5 minutes from the tram. We spent a week touring all over Istanbul and we did not find a better area to stay. The bars and restaurants of Istiklal were not far and it was nice to walk around this area in the evening with all the shops which were open until late. Highly recommended! But if your flight is a lot later than check out, I would confirm arrangements about luggage with the owner before booking, but we had great communication with him and we didn't want for anything. Also, it is a bit hilly around this area if you don't like walking, but we totally enjoyed it and so did my fit 71 year old mother!
