While resorts continue to spring up, "Zihua" remains determined to maintain its small-town flavor. The brick-paved "fisherman's walk," a nod to the region's seafaring roots, stretches along the town center. Because the nightlife is mostly informal, Zihua is particularly appealing to couples and those seeking an escape from coastal party towns.

We have been returning year after year before going to our stay at a resort. We love the location to all the different little restaurants on Calle Adelitas. It is amazing how many restaurants that have sprung up since the street had been closed and reopened. So many now offer the grilling on the street. A few it seams on some nights to have reservations. If we don't have reservations at our favorite and is full, we will just walk along until we find one that has what we want. The hotel is small and have guest that return year after year and your choice of rooms may not be available in the high season. The returning guest will make reservations while there to make sure of the choices available at the time. We have have waited a week before making reservations and the room we wanted will not be available.

My wife and I have stayed here five years in a row for a month or more and we love it. It is basic but well run and clean. Perfect location for restaurants and everything else you would need. Tomas, the manager, is very helpful and friendly and speaks English. The staff are friendly as well. This is definitely not a five-star place, but it has a well-stocked kitchen, three bedrooms and air-conditioning in all the bedrooms. I highly recommend it.

we are located in the beautiful port of Zihuatanejo. embedded on the mountain, above the picturesque fishing village.
We are a small family hotel, very clean, with all services very well located in the center of Zihuatanejo and just 20 steps from the main beach
