So many children in the pool with their families every day made it mostly unusable for others. Construction of some kind was going on most days on the floor above (4). Constant tapping and other noises throughout all week days. Suspect some major work going on above us.

The least favorite of all in Rocky Pt. Due to the way treated. We had 8 people (2 small children) in a 6person condo. They banged on our door at 10pm and 10:30 saying we had too many. So the next morning we paid another 420.00 for 2 nights for the below condo. They restaurant was very nice and friendly. Excellent gourmet grouper. The pool and bar area are fine. The walk up the coastline was amazing. We drove to the fish market and sandy beach often-15-30min drives.

I stay at the hotel 2 nights and then I have to reach another better option. I mean, my kids was looking to have fun at the pools but with special preference for the jacuzzi. The 2 jacuzzi's that the hotel have, are out of service both. The 3 pools completely dirty. It was not a good experience for me and for my family.

There is no great hotels in Creel but this is perfect. Huge room, fabulous bed, hot tub! Lots of hot water. Very quiet but walking to town. Old fashioned but clean, we sort of loved it and the copper canyon is incredible

Medieval castle type restaurant with individual cabins plus a Club House with indoor swimming pool and spa; also have 20 rooms in the rim of the Canyon with a Panoramic Restaurant to admire the best view of the Copper Canyon.
I stayed at Hotel Mansion Tarahumara in May 2022, renting two rooms. One with a valley view and one with a canyon view. The rooms are dated, though some might say rustic. My valley view room was actually a log style cabin, the canyon view room slightly more modern. One room had lots of hot water, one only warm water. In one room the tap water ran yellow and smelled, the other was just fine. Lighting in the rooms was dim and lacking. Many bulbs were burned out. There are also not a lot of outlets for charging your phones, tablets or using a CPAP. The beds were comfortable and the place was quiet as there were few people staying there. Our check in was chaotic after we arrived from the train station on the hotel shuttle. They pick you up at the train station and will take you back too, but there is a small, per person reasonable fee. Since there are no taxis, you have no other options. Getting around in the area can be difficult, so ask lots of questions about the shuttle schedule when you arrive. Every web site says there is a restaurant there. It’s true, but it is not always open and neither is the bar. There are specific hours for each meal time. The price to eat, and drink was very reasonable and the service was great. But if you want to eat outside of their set hours, good luck. We arrived on the morning train from Creel and no breakfast was available for us after we checked in. In fact the front desk people told us to walk down the hill to another local option to eat. While it was inexpensive and wonderful, I found it odd that a hotel with its own restaurant would refuse us service. The hotel has a small store but it was not open during our stay. That means getting some bottled water, or buying that toothbrush you forgot is going to be difficult. For modern travelers, be advised reliable WiFi here is pretty non-existent. The hotel uses a mostly inconsistent satellite system. That is true not just at the hotel, but in the entire general area. And no, you can’t just use your data either, as overall cell coverage is pretty sketchy as well. The hotel, one of the oldest in the area, looks its age. And the hundreds of steps you must climb everywhere attest to it. This place is not handicapped accessible or for people with weak knees or hearts. There are steps everywhere, all at different and inconsistent heights and sizes. Remember, the altitude is above 7500 feet and depending on where your room is, you will have to climb hundreds of steps, potentially in the dark. This is especially true in the canyon view rooms. Would I stay here again? Probably not. When I vacation I want the details taken care of and this place was lacking in that regard. But… if you want to wake up to a great sunrise over the canyon at a fraction of the price of the other hotels in Divisadero, this is a good option. Just make sure you ask about the details, plan your meals, bring a flashlight and have strong legs!

Location is perfect, but installations needs lots of cleaning and maintenance. Also pest control for cockroaches. Employees there need to be better informed of what the resort can offer, also the pools needs to have better signs (visible) of deep areas.

Marinaterra Hotel & Spa is located in the heart of San Carlos, adjacent to Mexico’s largest natural marina and in front of TETAKAWI hill. Both the marina and Tetakawi hill gives us majestic views and stunning sunsets. We are 15 minutes from Guaymas Airport and a short 20-minute drive from Guaymas. San Carlos is 1 hour from Hermosillo, Sonora’s capital.
Good: nice view of closed marina, cactus on mountain, convenient location chosen by our tour group. A bit of upgrade for us as we came from remote area of North Mexico tour and rooms are bigger than my previous places. Since it is literally next to harbor, you can also do wildlife and sightseeing boat tour - highly recommended. Ok: Restaurant on site is convenient and breakfast buffet is plenty. I know, they are trying to advertise as "fine dining" but dinner was hit or miss and dishes are neither "real fine dining" nor "authentic (i.e. bland)." Again, not much alternative as there are limited other restaurants on that marina and a long way to go to downtown. I know, some people complained of noise level at night. May be people from US are not used to availability of live music in this town - from nearby night club and others. Things could improve: limited English speaking staff even at front desk. Unable to assist me booking message on site. I ended up walked myself to next building to the hotel and booked myself. Message is not good, almost as expensive as US. I had way better messages for less in Cabo! Final take: go to San Carlos, secret playground of dessert, land locked Arizonians for natural beauty, less touristy appeal. People for AZ drove there for oceanside holidays. Do not expect first class dining, other tourist amenities or first class cleaned rooms.
