Beautiful mountain retreat with incredible views, food and people!
Reviewed By WiiHikeWe visited Hotel Havrania from the USA in January 2022. This place is a gem! Getting there: We rented an AWD SUV in Vienna and drove the 3.5 hours to the hotel without any difficulty. Border crossing was smooth, didn’t even have to stop until our return back to Austria. If no snow a car would be fine but there was plenty of slippery snow on the roads in the mountains so we were thankful for the AWD to not have to worry about chains. The hotel: Gorgeous! The quality of construction is noticeable and the views of the surrounding hills, countryside and mountains are stunning. We had a room in the hotel that was clean and comfortable, but they also have chalets that are incredible for a group or family. The restaurant has a cozy fireplace to enjoy after a day of adventure and the bar is well stocked with a fine selection of liquor. There is also a Wellness Center with 2 saunas (one steam, one dry), a cold tub and a warm pool, and a relaxing room to rest in. Can also book a massage. The food: Everything was delicious, you would think you were at a 5 star restaurant in the city. Wonderful cuts of meat with flavorful sauces and a great selection of tasty wines to pair with whatever you choose. Wish we had more time to try everything on the menu. The staff: Everyone was friendly and attentive. They know the area very well so if you need recommendations on where to ski in the winter or hike in the summer they will happily assist with your plans. We are so glad we found this place and cannot recommend it enough. If you are looking for a beautiful place in the mountains of Slovakia to relax and adventure this is an absolute must. You won’t be disappointed.

Reviewed By Jade HWe were many foreigners from all over the Europe to stay there for a couple of days and it was an excellent experience. The staff is welcoming and incredibly nice, the services was always perfect and on time,the room are wide and clean,and the food is fresh ! I think it may be the best place to stay and rest in Zazrina. I recommend it !

Jánošíkov Dvor is located in the Little Fatra National Park. If you want to meet, get to know, experience and have fun, you are right here. There are three original woods built in insituated style that are fascinated by fire, wood smell and home cooking near Jánošík's birthplace - Terchová, embraced by the magnificent Little Fatra National Park. Jánošík himself would not swell. The woods have a social / training room with a possibility to rent audiovisual equipment. The rooms in all the woods are equipped with their own bathroom. For a moment of relaxation there is a Finnish sauna, barbecue, bicycle rental, indoor fireplace with sitting in front of the woods, playground, volleyball, basketball, football, climbing frames and fun adventure golf course with 18 holes for children and adults right in the woodcutting area. Three parking spaces are available for guests and visitors.
Seemed to forget our simple order, not a very nice ambience
Reviewed By ColonelxI have found most of the Koliba'a very pleasant to be in, this one seemed a little on the run down side. As we were coming back from a day trip we ordered very little, garlic soup and some chips and my partner ordered a pancake with cream and jam. The Garlic soup arrived promptly and was delicious and then.........well my partner started to eat the croutons delivered with my soup.....some 25 minutes later and after seeing a few later tables being served our other food arrived.....my partner enjoyed her pudding but the wait and not so great scenery was not good.

Reviewed By povopozitivDomáca kuchyňa ako od babičky. Privíta vás len pár stolov starší zrejme manželský pár s úsmevom ale jedlo je výborné. Skúsili sme typické slovenské... bryndzové pirohy a guľky plnené hovädzím mäsom s kyslou kapustou. Jemné zemiakové cesto, chutná plnka a spokojné bruško. Milovník domácej, slovenskej kuchyne nebude sklamaný.

A great place with lovely hosts
Reviewed By jessicaspencer87My husband and I were doing a road trip through Europe and came across this place on Bookings.com We felt very welcomed by the owner and even though his English was broken he took the time to get to know us. The location is beautiful, comfy rooms that were clean and had everything you need. The breakfast was yum and we felt the price was really good value. If you’re in the area and need a place to stay we would recommend here. His Bermudez Mountain Dogs are beautiful as well.

Reviewed By turistaCZpokoje jsou šílené, šikmá střecha vám nedovolí se pořádně vysprchovat nebo si vyčístit zuby, v koberci byl prach jako by se tu dlho nevysavalo , na pokoji nejsou skrine nebo plocha kam si dát věci pro delsi pobyt. toaletni papir jednovrstvy, slabé osvetlení, doporucuji jen na jednu dve noci jako ubytovnu pan majitel ma utkvělou predstavu ze jeho kuchyne je nejlepšní na slovensku. nicmenej není spatna, napoje mirne predrazené. otevreno cca do osme vecer. pobyt s domacim mazlíčkem je mozny po dohode s jistym omezenim mistniho domácího psa který musí byt zaviran protože logicky hlida svoje teritorium. Deti su nekedy i vitane, nazev hotel ci pension je prehnany,.,,pokud ale hledate historicky zaujimavu restauraci je to OK. .
