Located 3 miles from beautiful Whiteface Mountain, where the 1980 Winter Olympics were held, in the heart of the Adirondacks! 12 miles from Lake Placid!! Free late check out for skiers. Go home comfortable!!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay here. Just got home a few hours ago from our 2 night stay and I miss being there already! We really felt like family and like we were home. The owner was so nice and very kind. My children told her we were going to Santa’s Workshop (which is right down the street) and she gave them Christmas hats to wear for their visit to see Santa. Also, she gave my children some stuffed animals to take home with them when we were leaving. The breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and adorable, and the whole atmosphere was VERY family friendly! Such an AMAZING place at such an affordable price! We will definitely be returning!!

Cadence Lodge is the ideal base camp for those craving the great outdoors and like-minded souls. As their name implies, they’re fanatics about biking and offer quick access to epic road rides, miles of single-track and gravity-fed downhill runs. They have a fleet of neighborhood bikes to get you to nearby beach or one of the many restaurants or attractions in style. Minutes from the Ausable River, the Wilmington-Whiteface region offers great fly-fishing and paddling. Miles of hiking trails wind through the area offering endless recreation and views for hikers of all skills levels. In the winter months, nearby Whiteface Mountain boasts the largest vertical drop in the east. The newly renovated rooms offer flat screen TVs, refrigerators, AC, USB ports and free WiFi. Community kitchen is available 24/7. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the Lodge's many outdoor spaces including the covered pavilion with gas fireplace, BBQ and fire pit.
This place is awesome! We stayed two nights, the rooms are newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Shelley will go out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The breakfast on the weekend was very good. There is a fire pit to hang out at night.

The Grand View Motel is located in Wilmington, New York. It has been family owned and operated for 25 years. We are perfectly located between all of the area attractions. You can enjoy magnificent views of Whiteface Mountain from the comfort of your room. We have all of the amenities you would need - A/C, cable TV, large pool, basketball, playground.
Our room was simple, no frills but clean. Refrigerator, TV, and AC all worked perfectly. The bathroom is small and it would be great to have an exhaust fan in there, but again it was CLEAN. Owner is very friendly. It’s about a 20-25 minute drive to the Lake Mirror/Lake Placid area.

Family resort featuring a 20 unit motel, 5 suites and cottages, miniature golf, two pools and two campground facilities featuring a full array of camping hookups. General Store on site for all your personal and camping needs plus over 250 varieties of craft beers and microbrews (mix n match) to purchase. There is also a Wine Shop on property to purchase bottles of wine.
We have stayed at this campground many times over the past 10 years and love the facilities and grounds. I was disappointed to discover that this property is now a KOA. It was previously a family-owned business. We did make reservations for 2 stays this year, hoping that the rustic nature of the 100 Acre Woods is maintained. The prices have gone up quite a bit, I guess someone has to pay the franchise fees! The woman I spoke to on the phone while making reservations told me that the Resort side of the campground would be closed for renovations for the entire season. Only the Woods section of the resort will be open. The store and check in are being relocated to the Woods side of the resort. One pool will open and a path to the river will be available. I am hoping KOA doesn't change too much...it was great as it was!

We stayed in the bungalow which was very clean and cozy! It was nice having the deck outside to listen to the birds and the creek below. The Inn was close to shops and restaurants, most within walking distance, and the view was wonderful! We read the reviews before we left and read so many raving about the breakfast! They were right! Wonderful breakfast menu and everything was delicious! We were delighted with our stay and have decided it is very much worth coming back to stay again!

Enjoy a delicious breakfast then visit Santa's Workshop with the kids or hike the high peaks, fly fish, canoe or kayak on the lake or golf. In the winter experience a bob sled ride, toboggan or dog sled on the lake, down hill or cross country ski, snowmobile, snow shoe or ice skate on the Olympic Oval. Or just choose to relax at the inn then explore unique shops and dine at one of the many different types of restaurants available for your enjoyment. The Inn is located in an area of unlimited choices.
The Inn at Whiteface was so welcoming to my friends and I during our ski trip. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we felt at home and the Inn itself is quite cozy. Check out the bar & restaurant "Rudy's" thats down the street! They have great live music, pool tables, a bunch of locals and generally amazing energy! I will be back to both places!
