The Hind is an historic 17th century town-centre coaching inn occupying a Grade II* listed building bristling with many original features. The hotel offers 34 single, twin, double and family bedrooms, 4 meeting / event rooms and suites, 2 bar / restaurants and a formal restaurant. Oliver Cromwell was said to have planned his campaign here en route to the decisive civil war Battle of Naseby in 1645, and guests are sure to find the central England location as handy as he did nearly 400 years ago.
There was a private function on which resulted in children running up and down the corridors until midnight banging on people’s doors. Someone also unlocked my room door at 10.30pm but luckily I had the safety catch on, my concern was how did there key open my room! The worst experience was 2 drunk men trying to kick my room door down at 1.00pm!! I had to get dressed risk opening the door to tell them they had the wrong room!! So I ended up with no sleep that night but I did get my room charge refunded. This has been my worst business trip experience I’ve had in 28 years of travel!!

At Premier Inn Wellingborough you're in pole position for a great day out. The home of European Drag Racing is a short drive away, and Silverstone is just up the road too. But you're also a grid-walk away from Wellingborough town centre and all the shops. Drive down the quarter mile track at the Santa Pod Raceway. Or drive a hard bargain at a stall in Northampton Market. Stroll through over 220 shops at Bliss shopping centre in Milton Keynes. Then enjoy bliss back at your hotel, with a warm welcome, comfy beds and our Beefeater restaurant.
-No cot when asked -Wi-Fi didn’t work even after paying for better, when said about Wi-Fi was told nothing they could do (was put far end room) -One towel between 4, rectified when I asked - Tv hardly worked - wasn’t the cleanest of places but seen worse

The Ibis Wellingborough hotel is located 2 km from the town centre and 3 km from the railway station. Ideal for weekend stays and major annual events such as Santa Pod drag racing, the Silverstone F1 Grand Prix and the Northampton Festival. Close to numerous pubs and restaurants, the hotel features a bar serving snacks 24 hours 7 days, free outdoor parking and a meeting room for seminars and conferences. Business guests will appreciate use of wireless Internet access.
I’m surprised to see negative reviews. This is a standard IBIS hotel. Location is basic - on a housing estate off a major road with a Macdonalds next door and a pub serving cheap and cheerful food. Wellingborough within easy distance though, also Rushden Lakes. Good option for Oundle too. Rooms usual basic IBIS rooms - small but well appointed and comfortable bed. Mine had a large walk-in shower cubicle which was better than expected. Was greeted and checked in by Rachel who was amazing - probably the manager? She checked me in. Served me at the bar. Advised me about the local area. And produced the rather good food later on - the food choice is certainly basic and there’s no chef - just Rachel multi tasking - but it’s fine and as good as the pub over the car park. I had nachos and chicken wings and they were pretty good. Other people were having jacket potato which also looked good. Breakfast good - only slight issue was that it was lukewarm so the warmers could do with being heated up a bit. But good selection and all very accessible. This is a good IBIS. And special thanks to Rachel who really was excellent.

The Columbia Hotel is ideally situated within 5 minutes walk of the lively town centre of Wellingborough. All rooms are en-suite and nicely decorated with color television and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a well stocked bar and comfortable lounge area, and we offer the best Full English Breakfast around!
I stayed here as I was working in the local area. The hotel is clean & cosy & the owner (Tofail) & his Wife are friendly, accommodating & hospitable. The breakfast was also super! The location is good with plenty of parking to the rear of the Hotel. Some good Takeaways nearby.

Property met outstanding hygiene standards. Price was very affordable and amazing customer services during my stay. Local parks and shops are walking distances to the premises. The property itself is spacious with access to kitchen to cook own meal. Host also provided several board and indoor games which kept us entertained.

I booked two rooms to stay here for a night for my son and I. I got the confirmation receipt by email stating the rooms had been booked. So after driving for most of the day and then both of us working too we arrived here after a very long day only to be told over the phone once we had arrived at the property. ( notice on the door saying call this number). No face to face contact. “ I’m sorry but I can’t see a reservation, besides we are fully booked”. Too bloody lazy to sort the rooms out more like. Run by a Pakistani woman. Still trying to get my money back might I add.
