A flooded bathroom!!
Reviewed By IsuckelThe hotel was ok, we had a good night sleep, the breakfast was good, even though the room gets a bit crowded, the sauna and pool were perfect for us after a ski day... but: I took a shower at my room's bathroom and the water wouldn't drain through the sewage system. I felt it was not worth the cost. Also, I would expect more information at the arrival of the facilities the hotel offers. We asked about the pool because we had read about it, otherwise we wouldn't have known about it.

Outstanding customer service
Reviewed By AmericanSwedieWe (family of 4) recently spent a night at the Best Western Hedåsen. We stayed at this hotel for the simple reason that it fit out road-trip schedule and we were pleasantly surprised! The customer service was 5-star. The receptionist (who I suspect was the owner of the hotel) welcomed us and really treated us well. We booked a family room, which turned out to be a mini-suite! The room showed a few signs of wear and tear, but I didn't mind. I was happy that there was a separate bedroom for us parents and a living room with a coach-bed for the kids. (Usually a "Family room" in Sweden means a slightly larger than standard room with a pull-out bunk bed, so we were very happy with the mini-suite. Finally, the breakfast was excellent. I stay at a lot of hotels in Sweden and abroad (most of which I forget to review) both for business and pleasure and I can honestly say that this was one of the best breakfast spreads I've seen. I hope that I find a reason to pass by Sandviken again so that I can revisit this hotel. :-)

Alsens Hotel offers you a charming non-smoking hotel. All our 25 rooms are decorated in different styles. Free WIFI, free parking, good parking for lorries, free sauna, free coffee, tea and biscuits during your stay. The hotel got three stars from Visita. Welcome!

Reviewed By Ondřej M5 of us visit hotel in last week of march. It was nice. Price is good from 700 to 1100 SC per night .... and breakfasts are excelent also. Little shame that almost every morning same. It would be nice if its change day by day. Like scrumbled eggs, pancakes or soups. But on the other hand, personal is such a nice to us. Also equipment is on good level and there is also snack corner in first floor. Very nice. There is sauna too. Nice one. In total i and other colegues can recommend it with calm heart. Frukosten bestod enbart av eldorado sortiment och var totalt 10st olika val dvs 1 juice 1 äppeljuice 3st brödsorter 3st frukostflingor 1 ost 1 skinka. Sängarna är väldigt nedlegade, kuddarna billigaste IKEA typ. TV:n å en liten 19" TV. En toalett där toapapperet var på väg slut. Även här eldorados sortiment.
