Sikamifer Tourist Resort (STR) commands an ideal location in the heart of the City of Quatre Bornes. Built in the 90s, the property consists of 72 rooms and is a distinct addition to Quatre Bornes. It is a great choice for travelers. It provides an enchanting swimming pool and a contemporary design & peaceful atmosphere to make your stay a memorable one. Sikamifer Guest House is ideally situated, only a few meters away from a Supermarket and less than 1 Km to the City Centre & Orchard Shopping Centre. The Guest House offers easy access to the must-see destinations & sightseeing spots on the island. We are 20 mins away from the most beautiful flic en flac beach.
It is a very good hotel, clean and peaceful. It has a sauna. Breakfast is very yummy. Staffs are very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is located in a very nice location in Quatre Bornes making it easy to get access to metro station, bus station and it was easy to move around the island. There are also many shopping centres and restaurants around. I really enjoyed my stay.

Terrible - nothing like the the pictures. In a horrible area, not much around. Room feels like a prison no wifi in room or lobby dogs barking all night, road noise almost constantly, Crawling mites on the breakfast rolls - urrrgggh I know it's a budget hotel, but my advice - avoid if you can.

This cosy place is situated in the heart of Quatre-Bornes, ideal for a business trip or leisure stay. The hotel offers you a spacious lobby open to the living room, elegant and bright where you can enjoy a relaxing time.

Having visited Mauritius previously I didn’t need a fancy hotel. Having booked last minute my options for Palm in the area was not an option so we decided to try Auberge. I only needed somewhere to sleep so this seemed like an ok option. So the lifts out of service and seems it’s not going to be fixed anytime soon. I asked for a fridge and it never materialised. (Even though i would of had to pay for this) I asked for an iron and I was sent up to the top and it was just after torrential rain and a cyclone. The room was covered in water. I’m not sure how I was expected to iron. The service was basic room amenities which needed to be replaced daily were replaced as and when they felt like it. Cleaners turned up some days and others they didn’t bother. Cleaning was done to a minimum with dust gathering in corners of the room. The basic standard of hygiene lacked which was frustrating. My overall review is yes it’s a basic hotel and I don’t expect it to have the same facilities as a 5* hotel. But the service we received was pretty poor however when we had a basic meal in the restaurant we was charged more than eating at one of the many street food places located in the area. I don’t understand how the service they provide is basic but the prices they charge for food is more than local places. I will not be visiting this place again and if I am honest I wouldn’t recommend it. The service is all over the place but the location was good and the people we met in the hotel other visitors were lovely.
