La Fattoria dei Nonni is much more then a traditional "Agriturismo". It's situated in the typical green Sicilian countryside and by reflecting the surrounding atmosphere it treats you to an intense holiday full of relax, culture and traditions.We have 7 rooms, with 2, 3, 4 or 5 beds. The rooms, placed among orange, olive and fig trees, have walls made of lava stones. They are built with respect for the environment and local traditions.At Fattoria dei Nonni you can enjoy the traditional Sicilian kitchen (ca €30 pp), with authentic products of the farm.A green and cool setting of plants and flowers wraps up the swimming pool, partially less deep for children.La vita è bella a La Fattoria dei Nonni !!
Outstanding hospitality
Reviewed By Marlene HWe were prepared to be disappointed, particularly since our GPS took us into the heart of Paterno. When we eventually arrived, the owner was waiting on us (having watched our driving circles on WhatApp, I think!). How could there be an agritourisma when we just passed a more industrial appearing area? But there is a hidden gem here--absolutely beautiful! Francesco gave us the choice to two rooms. We decided to take a swim to cool off, and he arrived to offer us fresh pineapple as a snack. We spontaneously decided to eat dinner and it was incredible--at least 12 different small dishes for us to try. We were leaving early the next morning for the airport, and Franscesco offered to serve use an early breakfast, which was warm filled croissants and fresh coffee, as well as bread, jam and other treats. Really amazing place--don't miss it!

Great value and location
Reviewed By diagiordanoThis is the third time I've come and stayed here. Each time I was pleased. Have stayed in small hotels all over Europe and I'm always extra happy when there's a good elevator, free breakfast, and clean beds and baths. I like the very economical price and even booked a massage. They are helpful and the place has a good reputation in town. Parking is difficult sometimes but that's normal in most European small towns. Pool and gym are extra but I'm glad since I don't use them and use that money for the massage :)

Not as expected
Reviewed By Simona CNot as expected. I believe the pictures are old pictures. Villas are indeed big and the area itself is nice BUT the villa we stayed in smelled like it has been closed for too long. You hardly see any staff. Agriturismo makes you think you can actually have meals there but there’s No restaurant. Towel’s were not clean and the dishwasher hasn’t been used in ages, it was smelly and not cleaned. Paternò itself has nothing to offer if not rubbish on the street. This agriturismo can be passable if you have to sleep one night but for longer (like we did) I wouldn’t reccomend. It’s a shame because it has lots of potential but whoever is in charge doesn’t care.

Great place for a Mount Etna visit
Reviewed By KinkersThis is a beautiful and well maintained B&B . It is very convenient to the town centre and well placed for a trip to Mt Etna. The owner is very accommodating and is happy to use Google translate to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are spotless. Breakfast is just a basket of breads with coffee available in a communal kitchen but it was fine for us.

Reviewed By MonkeyDonThis is one of the best places to stay for a trip to Etna or just relax. The grounds have orange and olive groves, a large swimming pool with sun terrace. From the breakfast room you get outstanding views of Etna. The owner is very friendly and with alot of the food home grown the portion sizes are huge, and very tasty. I would highly recommend staying here ☆☆☆☆☆

best welcome and unexpected dinner
Reviewed By jacqui owe arrived hoping to have first eaten. having not found anywhere at our prev town we thought we'd go out again. the host was so welcoming. not speaking english and us no Italian we communicated by google snd she ruusled up a three course dinnerwith wine in the most comfortable surroundings. room was rustic and very clean and charming. we loved our stay here. fully recomend...the warmest wrlcome we had in sicily.
