An Experience........The adventure begins from the parking area, Marmalade Springs calls for the adventurist in you. Trek around the 30 acre coffee plantation and dare to reach the Muttil Peak, try out a stream trek and have lunch at our very own Natural Dorai Cave. Finish the day off with a refreshing swim and a campfire dinner. Sleep in one of our Nature based cottages which are built and furnished completely in natural timber like Teak and red cedar planks. The cottages have great view and are spacious. The Rock House constructed on 3 humongous rocks is around 120 ft above ground and has a stream flowing beneath it. The cottages have streams, natural ponds and caves surrounding them, making your stay unique and within the lap of nature.
I was there for 2N-3D in May 2022 with wife and kids. The property is great, there is no doubt about that. The coffee plantation, wooden cottages and the view is amazing. But there are certain disadvantages with this beauty- 1. The resort is located on a hill. You have to park your vehicle at the bottom and then take their Jeep to reach the resort which itself is quite an adventure. They don't have a kitchen and that means there is no room service or food availability during the day. They only serve Breakfast and Lunch/Dinner. I'm not so sure about whether lunch is served because I was always encouraged to have lunch outside. And Since you can't casually go out for food, You have to plan it carefully (You can not go on your own . You have to wait for their vehicle to be available which will droop you to parking and pick you from there). This was the biggest problem since if you are planning to stay there and not roam around in the city, you definitely want to have something between lunch and dinner and you have no option except Tea/Coffee. 2. Their restaurant where dinner is served is an open restaurant. In the night when it rained, we could see all sorts of insects flying there. There were a few frogs on the tables and on the wall.. It was a bit disgusting and all I did was quickly finished the dinner. I was scared that something may jump in my food . It would have been better if it was closed or have an option to have it in a closed / open restaurant. If you like food, make sure you check with them before booking. I did not find the food to be good and with some variety.. I have had better food on Himalaya treks.but then that is individual preference.

This is a Wonderful place to stay for Couples, Family and Friends in Wayanad. It is near a few sight seeing places and rooms are very good. They also have an Authentic Ayurvedic Centre attached to the Property and many Locals, Tourist and International Tourists come here for various Therapies and Treatments. The Manager Mr. Tony was very very friendly and knowledgeable. He guided us on both days on visiting the most importance places in and around Wayanad. Please speak to Mr. Tony if you have a booking here and I am sure he will help and guide you with your entire trip. The rooms were very good with all facilities. Also this place has free parking for all their guests.

We stayed here in January 2020. Wonderful place. Cool old house with nostalgic rooms. Location is great. We can spent one full day there. Nice host. House keeping to be little more improved, but quite nice place to stay. I recommend family stay with friends.

Wayanad Coffee Trail is nestled in the cliff of Muttil peak with breathtaking view to the plantation. Spread over 10 acres of coffee plantation. Located inside a coffee plantation in pristine surroundings provides you unmatched luxury. Probably the greenest place you have ever visited. Don’t be surprised if you sight a troop of monkeys in your balcony or an occasional deer close to your villa.
Excellent ambiance. Such calm and natural atmosphere where you can be immersed in nature. Comfortable stay and friendly staff. Tasty food and designed to suit our taste buds. Early morning trekking is an additional advantage. The indoor games and swimming pool for complete relaxation

I was recently booked here by a friend for a few days, who didn't know the state of the resort when he booked it. This place has just started up, and is absolutely HORRIBLE for stay. I shouldn't be too harsh on it, probably because I was one of the first guests at this place. But what made me angry enough to write this review are the LIES found at their official website. Good things about the resort: There are a handful of staff, and they are very nice and courteous. (Poor guys). The landscaping of the place is very nice - excellent pathways, greenery etc. Terrible things: (Only samples!) There is no kitchen for you to cook, or a functioning restaurant - they will give you only what they cook. First time ever in Kerala I was not served Coffee and Tea. They give you only dip tea! Many other terrible things. Worst was my room - there is no airconditioner or even proper ceiling fans in any rooms, and the rooms are HOT. Frequent electricity cuts means the generator has to be switched on. One of the nights, my room lost electricity at 1.30 AM and shifted to another room, which was so hot that I almost didn't sleep the entire night. Through the day, it is cooler and pleasant OUTSIDE the rooms than inside! The Swimming Pool mentioned is a LIE. There is nothing of that sort. The reply is, 'it is under construction'. Bottom line: Don't bother to go here unless you see the rooms and place yourself.
