NOW 100% SMOKE FREE!! Days Inn Miramichi is located on the corner of King George Highway and Edward Street. It has an excellent location beside Tim Horton's, across the street from Pizza Delight, and between two very popular local bars, Mikes' Bar & Grill and Jack's Pub. The Civic Centre is literally next door to Tim Horton's where many events occur year round. There is also a mini-mall with a gas station and convenience store next door, as well as the only car rental in Miramichi. In additiion to the local restaurants, Boston Pizza delivers to our hotel free of charge. Our property offers free secure wi-fi, (password protected), free deluxe continental breakfast, and ample free parking. The hotel is now totally refurbished. The renovations comprise new pillow-top beds and crisp white linen in all guest rooms. New carpet, drapery, and custom designed furniture providing more space in guest rooms. Each guest room offers five lamps/lights to brighten your stay with us. Convenient additional plug-ins for laptop and cell phones by desks and nightstands, as well as on desk lamp for our business travellers' comfort and use. Each room has a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a 32 inch flat screen TV with movie channel and cable television. The ground floor rooms have drive up capability with lawn chairs provided for these guests. Many rooms on both floors offer additional seating areas and pull out couches. . We didn’t eat the breakfast at 8:15am as it wasn’t appealing (cold waffles on display) and we couldn’t get the water warm enough for a shower late Tuesday evening.

A very pleasant stay

Took a while to get settled in but to no fault of staff, third party check ins are a bit time consuming. Melissa always made me feel welcomed during our interactions and such a warm friendly smile. Thank you dear!! Paul, the morning attendant for breakfast area was very accommodating, even though I had missed the sitting he offered me all the services regardless without hesitation. He was very curtious and also very pleasant to interact with. Thank you very much sir!! Nick from dayshift who attended front desk was so helpful and directed me to a therapist in the local was such a pleasant person. Informative and accommodating are sometimes hard to come by but these three people gave it their all and are the perfect staff any reputable establishment could ask for. The room was very clean and comfortable as well, all that being noted I highly recommend a stay at this establishment as the price was great also. Very good bang for the buck for sure. As I am traveling across Canada and back to B.C., this was a ver positive experience and should I travel these parts again I will certainly make this one of my definate overnight stops. If this is the kind of treatment everybody receives at this establishment, I would say give them a raise and be thankful for your star employees. No restaurant No WiFi
Reviewed By parney1329In a remote desolate area of Mirimachi NB and the on site restaurant is closed, the WiFi only works in the lobby and our room is sharing the tv from next door. Staff are fine but oblivious to the fact that the restaurant closure is not posted on the site and our having to go to the lobby to access the Free WiFi is an issue re- false promo. Will share how Free breakfast goes. For the price it is way below expectations

Smells moldy, washroom not clean
Reviewed By ZipDrI was driving to Moncton and stopped hoping to find a place to stay for the night, just too tired to drive any farther. The attached restaurant was closed Mondays although this isn’t mentioned on either website, and the smell of mold hit me walking in the door. I used the washroom and although it was early in the evening, and there were few guests around, the garbage was overflowing. Needless to say, I stayed elsewhere…

Meth-Heads and Vandalism
Reviewed By nickpI5609OBIn 2016 my wife and I started going to this property in May to fish usually for about 5-7 days every year. We stayed there in 2020 when the place was all but empty, when we checked in we were warned by the more then one police officer that some of the renters were METH-HEAD’s and that we should not leave ANYTHING on our boat that can be stolen. My wife caught someone doing something near the winch, I later found it was sabotaged to fail the same person threw a bunch of rotten avocado all over my truck. We stayed there in May 2021 a week later then normal to our surprise the trees around the motel produce a LOT of pollen if you have allergies this is not the place for you. The last 2 years 2020 and 2021 there was a party atmosphere there were constant coming and going of visitors while we were there (most of our day is on the water) we witnessed many dramas play out many involving yelling and screaming at all hours of the day and night some involving the police. The rooms appear to be clean but as others have mentioned the bedding is stained I believe it is clean but stained. The only going thing I can say about the last 2 years is in 2021 we had a trailer tire explode when were on an old section of highway with spotty cell service at best we were to check in at 8:50 pm but were delayed till midnight the office closes at 9 but the check in woman met us there when we arrived we were grateful. I have had so many issues here I will not be back.

Renter Beware - not as currently described
Reviewed By 290trishrAfter 40 years of wanting to stay at this hotel, as I have frequented this area often , I picked the wrong time to book it. The dining room isn't open due to covid, nor is there any cable tv due to the renos...as advertised by The innkeeper Mike advertised that is an understatement, it's more like under construction. The main floor rooms are full of stuff from other rooms (bathtubs, furniture) that you're not able to enjoy the rooms and the history this hotel offers, not to mention the inch of dust on the furniture as well. We booked for 2nights, but only stayed 1 as we felt unsafe and uneasy. The hallway to our room in the back was unfinished with no drywall, insulation and beams and wires exposed. Our room was "ok" the bed and pillows however were comfortable. After confronting Mike the Innkeeper about our wanting to leave and not feeling comfortable, he refused to work with us for any compensation or to only charge us for one night, claiming he was fully booked yet we were the only couple there. He then proceeded to scream at me when I brought up the dining room and covid restrictions being lifted. He also claimed that our charges were put thru and wouldn't be able to do anything for us and that he's a small business owner, basically too bad so sad that we weren't happy! He is a liar, as he processed my card after we left. Iam so disappointed, that my dream stay was ruined. Rest assured the Miramichi is a beautiful place with beautiful history and people. There are plenty of other places (B&Bs) to stay that are willing to work with the customer. This guy gives Miramichers a bad name!!
