Everything was cool until the roach and $15 charge
Reviewed By CrysKenn54Checked in Friday May 20, 2022, there was random hairs and random rollie pollie bugs near the tubs. Saturday, May 21, 2022, breakfast was limited. The pancakes come out on this assembly line convection oven type machine that taste like the bag of Walmart pancakes, the eggs were filled with water, and the sausages undercooked. The pool was nice and the jacuzzi had a bandaid in it. Sunday, May 22, 2022, breakfast was the same, ew. Stayed in, rested, and made the room less messy for the cleaning attendant on checkout day. Placed all towels, trash, and extra bedding outside the door. Monday, May 23, 2022, same breakfast and a roach ran across the counter top from the cereal bar to the sugar/cream stand. Cleaned room and checked out. Around 12 PM, I received a call asking about a pillow. I advised the clerk that it went out the day prior and to check the cameras for proof. The attendant (female) stated okay, hung up, and proceed to charge me $15.00. Extremely dissatisfied and pissed about my money.

Reviewed By PennyC778I read a review about this hotel making a copy of your drivers license and credit card but took a chance because this was the only hotel with two queens after a last minute basketball tournament booking. When checking in, the lady asked for license and credit card and then started walking toward the copier. I asked her to stop and what in the world she was doing? She replied, company policy. I asked why. She replied they needed it in case there was a fire? What, really. Thank goodness Best Western had a cancellation. Be careful folks!

Terrible experience
Reviewed By KathykellaI’m not sure I’d ever stay at a Fairfield again after this experience. We were here for a wedding on Saturday but came a day early on Friday. Room was fine, clean and comfortable but that’s where the good stopped. Very noisy, had several groups of young people running up and down halls yelling, stomping, management did nothing. Came in late on Saturday night after wedding and there was no place to park. There was a group that took over the parking lot in back, parked across several spaces, set up tents in parking spot, chairs and cookers in spots, and were having a good old time. Eating, partying and smoking weed. Management knew what was going on, asked them to move but when they didn’t they did nothing else. The young lady working the front was very overwhelmed and really tried but she was alone and out of her element. Several people came in at the same time I did and also had no place to park. Just ridiculous! I don’t think even if they had moved lawn chairs out of spots, I’d have felt safe leaving my car there. Ended up parking under the awning in front with management permission. Oh and I guess I should mention they charge $7/night extra parking. To top it off my room is right above the partying, so as I’m writing this at almost 1am, the party continues. Two sleepless nights at a hotel that is already overpriced. Definitely will not be back.

Disappointed
Reviewed By volleyb2022I was told that I could have an early check in. The lady I spoke with guaranteed I could check in at1:oo pm with no problems and my name would be at the top of the list. When we arrived we were told too bad they didn't have a room, and they had already given the room to other customers early. Also, items that are normal in any hotel and are the minimum you should have and expect in a hotel were not there. All the items to make coffee but no coffee. No small laundry bags in the room for dirty clothes. Also, the room we had didn't have a shower liner in the shower. So when you took a shower the water of course went all over the floor because the shower Curtin is short and is actually hangs above the bath tub. The bathroom was all rusty and yucky probably from all the water coming from the shower. The room smelled of smoke and musty smell. Would check out another hotel near by before selecting this one. I was really disappointed as I always love the holiday inn express and expected this visit to be the same. Unfortunately, it was not.
