We came in from out of state for a 5 day stay. 3 days were bereavement and the other days we could stay if we worked remotely then spent the evening with him taking care of him. Hampton Inn was the mot expensive hotel in Madisonville by at least $35, but we chose it believing it would be a good place as a result. The night we arrived I tried to log on for work and found that Wifi is not free. You had to sign up for "Hilton Honors" to get it, by providing your email, phone number, etc. I set up a Hilton Honors account only to be told that the Wifi provided for free was of a high enough quality to check emails and such, and if we wanted the work grade wifi quality we would need to pay an extra $5. Already tapped out by spending $835 for 5 nights (unrefundable) spending an extra $40 for Wifi, a basic commodity provided by free by McDonalds and Starbucks, seems greedy. I will never stay in any Hilton establishment again. I now have to go work from my father in law's cluttered house with barking dogs in the background while I try to conduct Zoom meetings . You guys made a bad situation worse for us.

Located off Interstate 69, Exit 114 this Madisonvile, Kentucky motel is 15 miles from the Clear Creek Wildlife Management Area. Free WiFi is available throughout the motel. A microwave and a refrigerator are included in every guest room at the Big Spring Inn Madisonville. Cable TV and an en suite bathroom are also in each simply decorated room. . Free parking is provided at the Madisonville Big Spring Inn. Several restaurants are within walking distance from the motel, including Cracker Barrel and Denny’s. Glema Mahr Center for the Arts is 10 minutes’ drive from the motel. Western Kentucky Speedway is 9 miles away. We speak your language!

Reviewed By RobrieniiThe room was cheap and still not worth it. Opened the room and the strong smell of smoke hit me. Never asked if we liked smoking or non smoking. With all rooms full could not change, not even sure they have not smoking. The room was outdated and floor was uneven. Bathroom was what you would expect for the price, horrible. Paid for 2 nights and couldn't breath after one day. Woke up next morning (a Saturday) and there was no breakfast even though it was stated at 8 am in the morning. I understand it was cheap but give your guest some options. I paid for 2 nights and just said forget it and drove 6 hours home that night. Never again will I waste my money here.

Reviewed By dstige421194Don't waste your money. This place is in need of some TLC. Bugs, broken plumbing in the bathroom. I had to actually fix the toilet to be able to flush it. Facet ready to come off the tub. Smoke alarm just hanging with no batteries. I could go on and on.

Desk chair fake leather across the back was long gone Two lamps in the room. One had a dead bulb and a half lit second bulb. Brown shaggy carpet. Wow that's was scary, no telling what wasn't visible. Beds were ok. Bathroom was clean. TV ? No channel guide so just keep flipping. TV remote appeared to have been thoroughly cleaned. ++ I expected better.
