This was a last-minute booking in a resort we didn't know. Main reason for choosing it was the close proximity to the slopes. Staff on the desk tried to be helpful, given the volume of guests and a language barrier. Apartment was in a poor condition with damaged seating. Bedding was a blanket, no duvet and the mattresses terribly thin and the singles very small for an adult. General cleanliness was poor as well. Access to the town centre is by bus until 1930, after that it is a 15-20min walk. There are a few restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. The very definition of poor budget accommodation.

At the heart of an authentic mountain village, the residence Les Chalets du Verdon*** combines modernity and tradition. Equipped with all the comfort, it's composed of 67 apartments for 2 to 8 people with balconies and near the ski lifts. For your well-being, enjoy the wellness centre with an indoor heated swimming-pool, a paddling pool and a steam room.
I wasn’t expecting a luxury apartment given the price, but overall it was a good experience. The place is close to the center, the receptionists are very approachable. The pool not really heated, quite cold actually but it’s ok. Nothing to complain about really.

We made a reservation and paid a 30 pc deposit two months before our ski holiday. We received a confirmation of the reservation and the money was debited from our account at that time. However 6 days before the checkin date we were told the hotel had overbooked itself and we therefore had no accommodation . Unacceptable We ended up having to cancel our holiday and the only thing the hotel had to say was whether we had found an alternative solution. We are still waiting to be paid back our deposit also.

Ideally situated in the centre of the lovely ski resort Foux d’Allos, the residence Central Park offers comfortable and welcoming apartments from to 9 people. In the heart of the Mercantour National Park, the ski resort won both French labels "Ski France" and "Famille Plus". Let yourself be seduced by the proximity to the centre of the resort and the friendly atmosphere of the residence. Leave the car to the parking the entire week and enjoy relaxation after your day at the sauna.
We spend 7 days at the park. A lot of activities but some of them expensive. You need to bring trowels, soup, and even toilet paper. There is a big supermarket and dissent prices. The water activity is so fun. Dont miss the pool party at the evening. Dont miss to make a ride outside of the park with a byckle

The hotel is an a great location, in the centre of the village. Just a few mins walk to the ski slopes. The rooms are fairly basic but clean. The staff were very friendly and we were impressed how hard they worked. The breakfast is served in the bar area downstairs. Croissants and baguette, with orange juice and hot drink. They have a good system to store boots and skis downstairs. There is a restaurant on the first floor but we preferred to eat out in the village instead although it looked popular. We would stay again. My suggestions for improvement would be to upgrade the towels and to service the room daily - ours was only cleaned on the first day but not again on our four day stay. Overall a great stay though and perfect for a ski holiday.

Close to the Italian border, this ski resort is located at the foot of the Val d'Allos Mountain. It offers apartments with a living room and TV and a balcony overlooking the mountains. There is also a sauna available at an additional cost. Apartments at Les Balcons Du Soleil have a kitchen equipped with hot plates, a dishwasher, an electric coffee maker and a microwave. The Balcons Du Soleil provides Wi-Fi access in each apartment at an extra cost and a private car park.
This hotel is a rather old one. We were 4 adults and 2 children and I found there was reasonable space around. The kitchen was clean, bed linen clean, bathroom clean but the floor was not clean, it needed a good cleaning. Breakfast was good. We should congratulate Fabrice who offered a warm welcome, always had a good word for the kids and a good sense of humor, pleasant personality and helpful.
